The next day.
Heiduo continued challenging his way upward.
Most Pokémon in Areas Five and Six were below Energy Level 50; those in Areas Seven and Eight were below 65; those in Area Nine were below 70; and those in Area Ten were below 75—the level of a Battle Mountain Master and Elite Four member.
Heiduo had picked up all this information from other people in the rest houses.
Yet so far, there were very few Trainers who had reached Areas Nine and Ten and stayed in the rest rooms there as challengers.
"Those people are probably the ones at the very top of Orre's Trainer pyramid, huh?"
Heiduo looked at the basic profiles of the Area Nine and Area Ten gatekeeper Trainers displayed on the computer. They included men and women, young and old, but even the youngest was already in their thirties.
The one who caught his attention most was Batrus, the Battle Mountain Master who possessed Elite Four-level strength.
He was a blond giant over two meters tall, his muscles bulging to a terrifying degree. His eight-pack abs and powerful chest muscles were fully exposed, and his arms were nearly as thick as some girls' waists. His presence was overwhelming—he looked more like a Pokémon than a human.
He looked terrifying just standing there.
Fortunately, his long golden hair hung down his back, and he did not have two ahoge sticking up in front. Otherwise, Heiduo might really have suspected he was related to some man surnamed Ou.
According to the profile, this Battle Mountain Master had not taken the field for three or four years. Most challengers were stopped by the earlier gatekeepers in Area Ten, and only the lineup he had used four years ago was available online.
Dusknoir, Slaking, Salamence, Flygon, Gyarados, and Claydol.
