Sinnoh's history and ancient way of life had been perfectly preserved here. The shrine at the center of town dated back to prehistoric times. It was said that Celestic Town had existed ever since humans first discovered the Sinnoh region.
But whether that claim was reliable or not was something best left to the professionals.

The largest archaeological research institution in the Pokémon world, without question.
In the games, Celestic Town was the smallest town in Sinnoh, but reality clearly differed. At the very least, it was far more prosperous than Michina.
"Get back here."
Heiduo's voice suddenly rang beside Garchomp's ear.
"Gah..."
Garchomp, which had been quietly lifting a leg and trying to sidle away, immediately pulled its foot back with an awkward grin.
Perhaps when it had been young and ignorant, it had not known where this was or why they had come. Back then, it had only known to foolishly follow behind Heiduo.
But now, it was over seven years old. It was a grown shark, with an Energy Level as high as eighty-two. There was a place in Sinnoh called Celestic Town, and there was a wife in Celestic Town—those were two things it remembered perfectly well.
"What are you in such a hurry for, my dear little shark?"
Heiduo reached out with a beaming smile and gently stroked the gills on Garchomp's neck back and forth.
The gills responsible for filtering out sand and water twitched open slightly under the stimulation. A few grains of yellow sand fell out and vanished into the air.
Higher up were Garchomp's terrified eyes.

Of all Heiduo's expressions, the most frightening was when he spoke
