Kazi accepted Hatis's allegiance and began looking for ways to use his new position while keeping his true master, Lincon, hidden. Meanwhile, Alashu covertly provoked the Life Banshees and undead into a factional war that drew in the Epic Lords Stalian and Rael, leaving the Abyss Sea in chaos.

• Hatis welcomed Kazi as a subordinate and assigned him to manage void creatures alongside leaders of three other races, while declaring its ambition to break through the Great Wall and reach Epic.
• Kazi decided not to expose himself or pursue Lincon's mission openly, and considered using his access to Hatis's plans to bring fresh recruits into Hive Canyon.
• At Bone Highslope, Alashu discouraged undead lords from attacking the Life Banshees by recounting how they had supposedly tortured a Bone Demon.
• That night, an unknown person planted a Lich in the Life Banshees' camp, and Alashu's Bone Demon stirred outrage by recounting insults attributed to the Life Banshees.

Lincon strengthened the Great Wall Defense Line with five Rune Arrays as inland ability users and civilians departed for safer cities. With the Abyss Sea strangely quiet, Taiyi revealed the deeper nature of his Everbright ability and sensed that an attack was arriving.

• Lincon established five Rune Arrays along the Great Wall Defense Line, while Guo Chongguang and Zhou Kang considered promoting him for his efforts.

The Rune Arrays turned the tide and left the defense line with no casualties so far, but Lincon remained tense because the Abyss Sea’s elite force had not yet appeared.

• Fang Qingyang ordered the defenders to fire Dark Energy Cannons and weapons at the approaching Abyssal Creatures, while the Myriad Phenomena Forest Array trapped flying attackers in illusions.
• Fang Qingyang coordinated water- and ice-type ability users to freeze climbing giant octopuses, and Lincon held back the Five-Rune Abyssal Domain Formation to avoid revealing it too soon.

Trapped by the Flame Demon Warlord and four commanders, Lincon received word that the Red Lotus Ant King’s forces had arrived.

• Golden Dragon and Jiang Li led the convoy carrying the Great Wall Defense Line’s personnel, families, and books toward Longwind City, then learned that at least three hundred Dark Wanderers were approaching.
• The Flame Demon Warlord destroyed Defense Line Nine’s Rune Array, and Abyssal Creatures overwhelmed the defenders as Lincon fought on the wall.
• Lincon entered Composite Form, battled an A-Rank Force Demon, and killed it with Death Scythe despite the Flame Demon Warlord blocking his attack.

Guo Chongguang and Zhou Kang stayed behind with the personal guards to buy the others time, but as Lincon and the survivors reached the rear gate, an Epic Lord’s skeletal hand killed Tang Lin and blocked their escape.

• Lincon ordered the Hive Legion to retreat, told the other Abyss races to follow if they wanted to survive, and went alone to search the other defense lines for humans.
• Lincon found Fang Qingyang, Guo Chongguang, Zhou Kang, and the surviving defenders surrounded by Abyssal forces at Defense Line Three, while Kazi avoided fighting among the High-Rank Lords.
• Guo Chongguang demanded that the wounded ability users escape and threatened to kill himself if they refused, so Fang Qingyang and the others began retreating as the personal guards stayed to defend the two old men.
• Guo Chongguang and Zhou Kang faced the advancing Abyssal Creatures together, while explosives buried throughout the Great Wall Defense Line detonated and devastated the battlefield.

Uken and Charon cornered Lincon and the last survivors of the Great Wall Defense Line, but Taiyi intervened and used his final power to let them escape while devastating the Abyssal forces. Taiyi died in the battle, and his memories revealed how Zhang Chang Geng became Taiyi.

• Uken killed Tang Lin and spotted Lincon among the survivors.
• Charon arrived and attacked Lincon, but Taiyi blocked him and shielded the group with White Realm.
• Taiyi used Mystic Purification—Order Fixation Measure to send Lincon, Fang Qingyang, and the others away while trapping the Abyssal Lords and creatures in a sea of light.
• Taiyi's White Realm shattered after severely damaging the Abyssal forces, and Taiyi died as the survivors escaped.

After escaping the fall of the Great Wall Defense Line, Lincon invited its surviving defenders to join Longwind City and began leading them there. As he recovered and reviewed the war’s rewards, he planned to strengthen Longwind City by advancing Spirit Plants.

• Lincon awakened on a hill with Li Xingzhou, Fang Qingyang, and the other survivors, then invited them to come to Longwind City.
• Wei Xing and Chen Qi agreed first, and Fang Qingyang, Li Xingzhou, and Zhao Jingyi followed; Lincon promised to lead a counterattack against the Abyss.
• Lincon reunited with the Hive Legion, revealed it was under his command, and warned the survivors not to attack it.
• Two days later, Lincon caught up with the main group and kept the Hive Legion at a distance while it guarded their journey to Longwind City.

• Lincon gave Wei Xing a Rejuvenation Immortal Bean, and Wei Xing regrew his severed arm after cutting off the healed stump again.

• Lincon used an A-Rank Dark Matter Crystal, a Shapeshifting Tree, and the blood of a B-Rank lifeform to advance the Cimu Beast into a B-Plus Rank World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus with Divine Wood Potential.
• Lincon took the World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus to a dark creature nest, where it devoured a spider-like creature and perfectly transformed into it, reproducing and enhancing its abilities.
• Lincon ordered the Hive Legion to search for a stronger creature to test, and Isaiah's team found an Abyss Rift controlled by the Cinder Demon Lord and Withered Hoof Lord.
• Lincon joined Isaiah at the rift and learned that both lords had refused to submit; he ordered his forces to beat them until they did.

Lincon led the Hive Legion against the Emberwing Demon and the Withered Hoof Lord, killing the Emberwing Demon and forcing its followers to surrender. The Withered Hoof Lord submitted, but Lincon tested the World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus’s ability to mimic the dead demon, then challenged him to reconsider his choice.

• Lincon ordered the Hive Legion to invade, and Alashu led the charge against the resisting Abyssal forces.
• The Withered Hoof Lord held his subordinate races back and avoided killing Hive Legion warriors, while the Emberwing Demon fought the legion.
• Isaiah and the other commanders defeated the Emberwing Demon, and the Withered Hoof Lord surrendered to Lincon to spare his tribes.
• Lincon had the World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus consume the Emberwing Demon’s corpse and mimic it, though it could reproduce only eighty percent of the demon’s power.

Lincon secured Withered Hoof's submission, absorbed the surrendered Abyssal races into the Hive Legion, and evolved the World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus into a World-Devouring Demon Sprout. After collecting the Abyss Rift's valuable supplies, he prepared to lead the enlarged army away.

• Withered Hoof agreed to serve Lincon, offered to persuade the Cinder Demon Lord's races to surrender, and accepted an Overlord Mark.
• Lincon ordered Withered Hoof and Bane to subdue the remaining Abyssal races and gather the rift's supplies, then arranged to relocate the new troops to Hive Canyon.
• Lincon used Potential Unleashing to evolve the World-Swallowing Pseudo-Fetus into a World-Devouring Demon Sprout with improved mimicry and the new Biological Transcendence ability.

• The human camps agreed to join, and Golden Dragon drove ahead while Lincon evolved an Azure Sky Purification Lotus and other Spirit Plants during the journey.
• More than ten days later, the convoy reached Lin Province with its food nearly gone, and hungry Zhou Xiaoman asked Sun Xiuying how long remained until Longwind City.
• Longwind City’s vehicles arrived, and convoy captains directed the elderly, children, and disabled to board first while suppressing a brief rush.
• Sun Xiuying and five-year-old Zhou Xiaoman boarded a vehicle, where a Longwind City staff member gave the child rice porridge and described how the city had helped people survive.

Sun Xiuying and Zhou Xiaoman traveled with other relocated families into Jiangzhou, where they saw its recovering ecosystem and learned about Longwind City’s districts and rules. The convoy finally arrived within sight of the astonishing city, leaving the newcomers to begin their new lives there.

• Sun Xiuying comforted Zhou Xiaoman as their transport truck departed with other mothers and children from the front lines.
• The driver described Jiangzhou’s recovering ecosystem, its mutant-animal protections, and Longwind City’s districts and temporary housing for newcomers.
• The convoy stopped so staff could explain Longwind City’s rules to the relocated families.
• Zhou Xiaoman and the other passengers saw green plants, mutant animals, and the lush Green Carpet Zone as they approached the city.
• The convoy reached a view of Longwind City’s vine-covered walls and enormous crystal tree, astonishing the newcomers.

After returning to Longwind City, Lincon rested and reflected on the city’s growth, his approaching advancement, and the threat beyond the Dark Veil. The next morning, he reunited with Longwind City’s leadership in Origin Hall.

• Lincon returned to Longwind City, bathed, and surveyed the thriving city from his terrace.
• Lincon considered the Seed of Life’s growth, the Dark Veil, and his approaching Level 60 class advancement.
• Lincon fell asleep in the Sacred Court as the Crystal Ring Mother Tree and the Spirit Plants comforted him.
• The next morning, Longwind City’s core leadership gathered in Origin Hall to welcome Lincon back.

Lincon returned to Longwind City, reviewed its development, and reassured its leaders about preparations for Harsh Winter while worrying about the surviving Epic Lords of the Abyss Sea. He assigned Wei Xing to connect with other ability-user cities and gave the former Great Wall Defense Line fighters new roles in Longwind City.

• Lincon met with Zhang Rui and Longwind City's leaders, set fair rules for resettling about seventy thousand people from the Great Wall Defense Line, and heard reports on the city's growth and Crystal Communicators.
• Zhang Rui warned that Harsh Winter would arrive in a month and a half, but Lincon and Zhang Rui said the city's food stores, spirit plants, and preparations would help it endure.

Back in Longwind City, his Reputation reached the threshold for the Seed of Life to evolve, and its transformation began with golden Light Rain that caused plants and animals to react.

• Lincon watched the final group from the Great Wall Defense Line settle into Longwind City and allowed merchants to trade with the newcomers.
• The Ant Queen proposed using both Abyssal Cores to reopen a passage between Hive Canyon and the Abyss, and Lincon gave her the second core.
• Lincon ordered the Ant Queen to send elite soldier ants through the passage to scout and left the World-Devouring Demon Sprout in Hive Canyon.

He spent 350,000 Sunlight to establish a Jianmu Civilization network, simulate a Spirit Wood ecosystem, and solidify the Myriad Wood Rule, triggering another wave of transformation across the territory.

• Golden Light Rain transformed Spirit Plants, mutated animals, and some people throughout Longwind Territory, while the wilderness beyond remained untouched.
• Lincon inspected the mature Seed of Life’s abilities and learned that it had reached S Rank and could weave rules, simulate ecosystems, form a Divine Tree Grotto-Heaven, and create a Jianmu Civilization network.

After the Seed of Life transformed Longwind Territory, Lincon accepted that Longwind City’s growth could no longer stay hidden and established rules for its new Jianmu Civilization. The chapter ends with Zhao Xuan agreeing to Longwind City’s resource deal only if Lincon helps destroy an A-Rank Abyss Rift before Harsh Winter.

• The Misty Forest and Longwind Territory changed dramatically, awakening new ability users and giving Spirit Plants signs of consciousness.
• Lincon told Zhang Rui he would not conceal Longwind City’s transformation and explained that humanity needed to strengthen its whole civilization to resist the Abyss.

He agreed to travel back with Xie Haitang’s auction-house convoy, while Xu Lili watched the desolate wilderness outside Peerless City for the first time.

• Wei Xing refused Zhao Xuan’s initial demands, then agreed to report Peerless City’s request for five A-Rank ability users after hearing about the roaming Black Tides, ruined crops, and the Geothermal Fire Mother.
• Zhao Xuan explained that Peerless City would offer one Geothermal Fire Mother, which could produce Geothermal Firestone, if Longwind City helped clear the Abyss Rift.

The delegation reached Longwind City’s imposing outer wall, where Wei Xing left Xie Haitang instructions for arranging an official reception.

• Hong Yun advised Xu Lili to consider trading Longwind City’s Purifying Candles as their convoy traveled toward Jiangzhou.
• After entering Jiangzhou, the delegation stopped for a tire change near You Qing, who was observing Greenbud Deer and Ironfire Wolves.
• Xu Ran and two companions tried to rescue a Greenbud Deer from the wolves, but You Qing stopped them and the deer was killed.
