Background / History

Er Ming returns to Douluo Star alongside his elder brother Da Ming under Tang San's orders to assassinate the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff after its survival of the manipulated Heavenly Tribulation. The brothers initially conceal themselves as human soul masters before revealing their Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python forms. 29

Although Er Ming possesses the power of a Peak Second-Level God, the laws of Douluo Star forcibly suppress both brothers' divine strength. Their available power is reduced to approximately that of million-year soul beasts, giving the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff a chance to resist them. 29

After Tang San teleports the wounded brothers away, Er Ming accompanies Da Ming to the Ice Fire Yin Yang Well to recover. The Lion Mastiff tracks them through Da Ming's blood scent, breaches the valley's plant-beast defenses, and traps the brothers with the cooperation of the surviving immortal herbs. 30 31 32

Appearance

Er Ming can assume a burly human disguise, but his true form is a colossal Titan Giant Ape described as mountain-sized. 29

He is deeply loyal to both Tang San and Da Ming. His confidence collapses after seeing Da Ming wounded and partially devoured, but he remains determined to protect his brother and fight to the end. 30 33

Following his death, Er Ming loses his independence as a Wraith Servant and obeys the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff's commands. 34 35

Story Role / Major Arcs

1. Tang San's assassination attempt — Er Ming and Da Ming descend to the Star Dou Great Forest to kill the weakened Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff. Er Ming opens with Gravity Mire and joins Da Ming in a two-on-one assault. 29

2. Battle against the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff — The brothers attempt to trap the Lion Mastiff between gravity waves and Da Ming's tail, but he uses Er Ming's huge body as cover, burns through Da Ming's scales, and tears flesh from Da Ming's neck. Tang San teleports the brothers away before Er Ming can be killed. 30

3. Siege at the Ice Fire Yin Yang Well — Er Ming protects Da Ming during their recovery, but the Lion Mastiff penetrates the valley and converts the Infernal Delicate Apricot into a Wraith Servant. The servant's intangible body and mutated fire poison immobilize Er Ming. 31 32

4. Final defeat — Er Ming burns his remaining divine power in a desperate strike. The Lion Mastiff catches his punch, breaks his arm, and kicks him into the freezing spring, where he is trapped as an ice statue. Da Ming is killed shortly afterward. 33

5. Reanimation and later service — The Lion Mastiff devours the brothers' Divine Soul Rings, then raises both as powerful Wraith Servants. Er Ming later participates in the destruction of a Sun Moon Empire military formation and accompanies the Lion Mastiff's growing force. 34 35 36
