Preparations to Return to the Big Dipper with a Miniature Heavenly Heart Mark

Jiang Yun stood amid the boundless sea of lightning, tempering himself. Strands of iridescent light rose through the void, and crystal-clear petals drifted down like a riot of heavenly flowers. All were formed from lightning and brimming with life essence.

Lotus blossoms of lightning appeared across the sea and clustered around Jiang Yun. At the horizon, purple qi came from the east, interwoven with Chaos in a wondrous spectacle.

Ancient stars shimmered into view within the boundless purple qi. Marvel after marvel unfolded, as though heaven and earth had just opened, dimming the entire starry expanse by comparison.

Divine birds and strange beasts, flowers, birds, fish and insects, the sun, moon, mountains and rivers all appeared and shifted within those ancient stars. They resembled scenes from an ancient Primordial Continent, each star reflecting all the myriad things beneath heaven.

"That's a Dao Severing vision! My husband succeeded!"

Huolin'er spoke with delight. Jiang Yun had successfully severed his Dao. When prodigies attained their Dao, astonishing visions manifested.

She could not make sense of his vision and had never found its like in any ancient record, but she was not worried. Her husband had, after all, pioneered a path unseen through the ages.

"The nine stars in alignment, purple qi coming from the east—there are traces of those Dao Severing visions and others in it."

Xia Jiuyou gazed admiringly at the figure deep within the starry river. The wonders around him opened her eyes, making her all the more certain that her husband could attain the Dao and become an emperor one day.

Jiang Yun paid little mind to those impressive but insubstantial visions. They represented nothing else; they could only be counted as heaven and earth's acknowledgment of him.
