"Fall back into the light barrier!" Ji Hao said gently.
The Buddha's light within him gradually faded, and he slowly broke free from the Buddhist chanting. Fortunately, Ji Hao's spiritual power was strong enough; otherwise, he truly might have renounced the world this time.
Still, his state of mind had been affected somewhat and needed time to settle.
"Listen to him, fall back!" Ye Fan said as he raised the bronze lamp and killed a small crocodile.
"Little brother, I'm counting on you!" Ye Fan called to Ji Hao, who was flying through the sky.
"Leave it to me!"
He would help if he could. In a sense, they were still Ji Hao's "juniors"!
Then, a pair of divine eyes swept over them coldly. At that moment, divine power boiled within his Sea of Bitterness. His eyes shone like golden lamps, their magnificent glassy hue resembling blazing divine flames, sharp beyond compare.
"Crack, crack!"
The many small crocodiles retreated in fear. By instinct alone, they suddenly sensed death closing in.
Within the Sea of Reincarnation, the true meaning of life and death evolved. Towering waves rose in the Sea of Bitterness, while the Life Spring gushed with life essence, supplying endless divine power. The Divine Bridge became even more extraordinary as runes and Dao inscriptions formed tiny formations one after another, continuously resonating and causing the Divine Bridge to erupt with dazzling divine radiance.
It seemed to possess the great power to suppress all things and split chaos apart. That was Ji Hao's artifact!
Within the Dao Palace, Ji Hao's five divine organs trembled in unison. Heavenly sounds of the Great Dao rang out as his past self and Dao self recited profound scripture, providing his present self with boundless wisdom and allowing his present self to endure eternally.
A strand of yin-yang energy emerged from Ji Hao's Sea of Reincarnation and rose upward. The true meaning of life and death awakened, eventually linking together into a divine diagram.
Phenomenon—Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Diagram!
A pure white radiance flowed like rippling water through the void, filled with vast life essence. It seemed capable of reviving the dead and restoring flesh to bones. Yet another aura of deathly stillness circulated alongside it, extinguishing all things. The powers of life and death intertwined and collided, creating tiny cracks in space that emitted hazy, mysterious radiance!
This was the mystery of life and death!
After being tormented by death energy for so many years, Ji Hao had not suffered for nothing.
The Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Diagram enveloped every crocodile present. Under its immense pressure, the chopstick-sized crocodiles burst one after another with several muffled pops, all turning into clouds of blood mist.
Inside the light barrier, everyone cried out in shock. The female students in particular shut their eyes in fear. Liu Yunzhi was even worse off, clutching the broken vajra pestle tightly, terrified that Ji Hao would target him over his earlier provocation.
Threads of blood essence, like swimming fish, flowed into the Five-Colored Altar. The Tai Chi Eight Trigrams Diagram formed much faster.
"S-So powerful!" Pang Bo muttered in shock.
"Is this what an immortal is like?!" Ye Fan said enviously as he looked at Ji Hao, bearing the Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Diagram behind him.
"They're just small crocodiles that haven't even opened up their Sea of Bitterness," Ji Hao said proudly, sensing everyone's astonished gazes.
"I have to say, showing off in front of people really does feel great."
"No wonder that little bald guy likes it so much."
Boom!
The storm followed like a shadow, raising an enormous sandstorm thousands of meters high.
Countless small crocodiles poured out of the storm, packed so densely that anyone with trypophobia would die on the spot. Yet compared to the one in the center, they seemed insignificant.
"Awoo..."
Another tremendous roar that made souls tremble came from the sandstorm!
With that terrifying roar, even the sandstorm outside seemed to freeze instantly. There was no other sound between heaven and earth, only the rolling, surging beastly roar.
The Yin-Yang Life-and-Death Diagram behind Ji Hao shattered as well. The gap was simply too great!
"Cough, cough."
A trace of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth. Just one furious roar had already injured Ji Hao.
The ground shook continuously. Even the Five-Colored Altar trembled, and the light barrier swayed slightly as the storm outside was completely suppressed.
A colossal body, scarlet eyes, and monstrous demon energy surged forward. Blood energy rolled and churned, shaking stars and moon.
The Crocodile Ancestor appeared. Its roar seemed to shatter the heavens above, and the stars filling the sky appeared to sway and tremble wildly, as though they were about to fall.
Ji Hao did not panic. Wiping the blood from his lips, he felt an urge to give it a try.
Void Great Handprint!
Ji Hao gave a low shout. A huge pitch-black handprint descended from the sky, carrying the power of the void. It was like an ancient demonic mountain descending, or a firmament falling from above, its divine might unfathomable!
This was a secret technique from the Void Scripture. It contained infinite power. Though Ji Hao had not cultivated it, he had studied its various killing moves, secret arts, and taboos!
The Ancient Void Scripture was a supreme ancient scripture created by the Void Emperor after observing all things in nature and grasping the eternal, unchanging laws. Naturally, Ji Hao would not pass it up. Though he might not necessarily follow the path of Furnace-Nurtured Myriad Scriptures, having references was still good.
The people watching could not help but marvel. Is this what an immortal is like?! That handprint was far too terrifying. It was like the sky collapsing, causing this land to rumble.
Even the earth seemed to shake. Distant hills were obliterated, massive boulders exploded, and in an instant, they were reduced to dust by the power of the void!
Yet such a powerful strike did not even get the chance to approach the Crocodile Ancestor. Before it could draw near, it was already erased by the Saint-level laws surrounding him.
All beneath Saints were ants. That principle existed in this world as well.
"So this is a Saint!"
Ji Hao's five Dao Palaces resonated together. His essence, energy, and spirit fused into one, pushing his combat strength to its limit. Faintly, he seemed about to break through into another realm.
Ji Hao formed a fist seal and leaped into the air. He was as agile as a true dragon, yet also like an emperor descending upon the Ninth Heaven, as though he had charged out from the boundless starry domain. His aura soared to the heavens!
Hengyu Fist!
A brutal aura shot into the sky, effortlessly erasing the fist seal Ji Hao had thrown. They simply did not exist on the same level!
Boundless demonic mist surged, concealing the body of this demon Saint. Only two enormous blood-red eyes, like crimson lanterns, could be seen rapidly approaching from afar.
Clearly, it was a colossal creature. Its body could likely crush endless ancient mountains. Ji Hao felt as though his soul was about to leave his body, drawn by the demon Saint's aura. It was terrifying to the extreme.
Demon energy pierced the heavens. This demon Saint seemed capable of plucking stars and grasping the moon. Before he even arrived, terrifying waves like a tsunami had already swept over them, making the entire Yinghuo Ancient Star tremble.
"Hoo!"
Ji Hao took a deep breath, without the slightest fear. Perhaps it was because they were on Mars.
They had not even left the Solar System. Wasn't this like beating the Flame Emperor's grandson right outside the Flame Emperor's doorstep?
A Quasi-Emperor might have the word "quasi" in the title, but he was still an Emperor!
Especially since the Flame Emperor possessed the Hengyu Emperor Body. Even an ordinary ninth-level Quasi-Emperor might not be his match, much less some tiny crocodile!
Ji Hao held his hands in the air as though gripping something. A divine sword was slowly drawn from the void, its dazzling divine light illuminating all directions and its supreme aura filling Yinghuo.
One side was engraved with the sun, moon, and stars; the other with mountains, rivers, plants, and trees. One side of the hilt bore the arts of farming and animal husbandry, while the other bore strategies for unifying the four seas.
