"Bitch, if you hadn't saved me, you'd see whether Haki Bee's big blade spared the old and young."
Roy, who had landed on the beach with his hands pinned behind his back, scrambled awkwardly to his feet and brushed the sand off himself. He grumbled inwardly, then looked speechlessly at Aisling beside him.
Watching Roy struggle a little to get up, Aisling felt some regret.
Damn it, I didn't put enough force into that slap. He got up again so quickly. If it weren't for the fact that you saved me, you'd see whether the iron fists of Grindelwald's heir would pound you flat.
The air seemed to freeze. Neither of them had expected a full-blown brawl on the very first day after winning their second chance at life. Roy scratched his head awkwardly, coughed twice, and took the initiative to change the subject.
"So—how did you save me?"
At Roy's question, Aisling turned away and folded her arms. In a deliberately casual tone that downplayed the importance of it all, she tossed out a careless explanation.
"Oh, that? Elias and I made a deal. I traded one condition for four bottles of Potions that could save you."
"Wait, what—"
Though Aisling sounded remarkably indifferent, Roy couldn't keep himself together when he heard Elias's name. The joy of surviving the disaster vanished from his face at once. He strode up to Aisling and began scrutinizing her from head to toe with an extremely serious look.
"What did that bastard do? He survived a Chidori Sharp Spear to the chest? Don't tell me you, because of this..."
Roy immediately started pawing at Aisling's arms and legs. With a disgusted expression, Aisling slapped away the hand he had reached out to check her over.
"Don't touch me! It's not what you think."
