The exceptionally intelligent Thestrals needed no driver; they could navigate to their destination on their own. Roy had always been curious about how Hagrid had trained the Thestrals to be so obedient. Could Hagrid actually be the real Grim Reaper?
Roy and his group of four were the last batch to board the Thestral carriages headed for Hogwarts, so they were also the last to get out in front of the Castle.
As the rain grew heavier, the dirt road from the station to the Castle became increasingly muddy.
The four who had set off in the last carriage took longer than the students ahead of them to make their way down the increasingly difficult road. By the time Roy and the others got out at the school gates, practically every Hogwarts student was already seated in the Great Hall.
The four got out onto the muddy, pitch-black road in front of the school, cold rain pouring down their necks. Noticing that all the other carriages had already returned to the Forbidden Forest on their own, the last four students to arrive immediately took off toward the Great Hall like four wild dogs, running with all their might.
"I'm telling you, the last one there is gay!"
Roy truly was a master of chaos. With that one simple shout in the rain, he sparked a life-or-death hundred-meter sprint. And after saying it, he shamelessly jumped the gun and dashed off through the cold rain.
Cedric and the other two, who had not fully processed what was happening, saw Roy shoot off without any sportsmanship and immediately began sprinting for their lives through the biting rain as well.
In the black Castle courtyard, four savages laughed wildly as they raced along the dark stone path through the cold rain.
Bang—
