Dumbledore had finally returned to the Headmaster's Office after spending several days outside dealing with Roy and the Ministry of Magic officials. He had been handling the mess Mia had caused and had not returned to the school at all during that time. Now that the preliminary arrangements for Mia's punishment had finally been settled for the moment, the exhausted Dumbledore returned to his office after several days away.
Glancing around the Headmaster's Office, whose furnishings had not changed in the slightest over the past few days, Dumbledore yawned and slowly walked to the window, pushing it open for some fresh air.
The night was dark and the wind was fierce. Dumbledore gazed at the pitch-black Forbidden Forest, considering the outcome of his negotiations at the Wizengamot over the past two days. Facing the freezing wind of a November midnight, he let out a deep sigh.
Whoosh—whoosh—
"What was that?!"
Two sharp sounds of something cutting through the air suddenly came from beside Dumbledore's window, startling him out of his thoughts.
He hurriedly leaned out of the window and finally recognized the two "giant bats" circling the tower housing the Headmaster's Office at high speed. They were Roy and Aisling, riding broomsticks.
"Fucker, you still can't outrun me even on a Nimbus 2000. I'm telling you, you should've surrendered back in April, or we'd have beaten you into a massacre."
"Quit fucking talking shit."
The two flew at high speed through the night sky, circling the tower while relentlessly hurling trash talk at each other. As they went on, the pair, nearly flying neck and neck, escalated things and started elbowing each other in midair.
"Man!"
"Fuck you!"
