Shrek Academy occupies the former headquarters of Spirit Hall. Its construction on this site becomes a major symbol of Spirit Hall’s defeat and replacement, provoking outrage from Qian Daoliu and Qian Renxue. 5

By the Dragon King Era, it is regarded as the continent’s foremost Soul Master academy and possesses a Soul Master army, the support of the Tang Sect, and figures such as Yun Ming among its ranks. 16 21

Admissions and Student System

Zhou Yi’s Freshman Class

She later orders every student who has not fought since enrollment to run one hundred laps around Shrek Square within one hour, threatening to expel anyone who fails. 9

• Yan Shaozhe is revealed to be descended from Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao, two Rank 99 leaders of the Holy Spirit Cult. He is not himself identified as an Evil Soul Master, possesses only a light-attributed martial soul, and is unaware of his ancestry. 12
