Harley Quinn Latches On

Kara got up very early.

The sounds of the bed frame nearly breaking last night had naturally disturbed her, so before the door to the next room opened, she sat in the living room with an unpleasant expression.

The scraps of clothing scattered all over the floor seemed to tell the story of what had happened, making her even angrier.

Although she knew her godfather should find her a godmother, she was unwilling to accept it deep down.

Would this mean sharing her godfather's love for her?

Just as Kara was lost in thought, Li Ang's bedroom door opened.

A beautiful blonde walked out. She was tall, long-legged, and exceptionally well-built. She wore Li Ang's white T-shirt casually, her long legs, enough to crush someone between them, swinging lazily.

"Mm."

Harley Quinn was somewhat surprised as well. She had not expected to see a little girl glaring at her the moment she opened the door.

But she did not care at all. Instead, she wore an amused smile. As though she had not seen Kara, she skillfully closed the door and went to brush her teeth and wash her face.

Kara watched the scene, unable to believe this bitch could be so shameless. She was about to explode with anger.

And Harley Quinn hummed as she went about her business, acting as if she were the mistress of the house.

Young Kara could no longer hold back her anger.

"Who are you!?"

Kara asked with a frosty little face.

"Who am I? I should be asking you that, little girl. Why are you in my home so early in the morning?"

Harley Quinn retorted.

That made Kara even angrier. She clenched her fists, wanting to punch this woman right out of the Solar System.

But remembering that her godfather wanted her to be a lady, she took a deep breath.

"This is my home! I don't care which vixen you are, get out! No woman has ever stayed until the next day!"

Kara fired off in one breath.

"Oh."

Harley Quinn's eyes lit up. "Then you've just met the first one who stayed until the next day."

"And I'll be living here from now on."

"Fuck!"

Kara could no longer endure it and blurted out a curse.

She hated this woman.

At that moment, Li Ang, who had been listening inside and was afraid they might start fighting, immediately opened the door and came out.

"Godfather!"

Full of grievance, Kara threw herself at Li Ang. Only because Li Ang was in such good shape now could he catch her cannonball-like body.

Harley Quinn made the same move on the other side.

And she shouted.

"Daddy!"

"Cough!"

Kara nearly squeezed Li Ang into a pile of meat, while Harley Quinn's form of address was far too devastating.

Harley Quinn really was a lunatic.

But Li Ang had no choice but to try and calm things down. "This is my goddaughter, Kara."

"I thought you had such a grown daughter at such a young age. So she's your goddaughter."

Harley Quinn clung to Li Ang as she spoke.

She did not care whether Kara was Li Ang's goddaughter or biological daughter, nor was she afraid of taking on someone else's baggage like the women before her.

Instead, she found the little girl very interesting.

Kara's temper was quite to her taste!

If she brought Kara along to cause trouble...

Ignoring Kara's murderous expression, Harley began fantasizing to herself.

"This is Harley."

Li Ang introduced her to Kara.

Coming back to her senses, Harley Quinn added, "Harley Quinn. Everyone calls me Queen!"

"Harley Quinn!"

Kara was somewhat surprised as she looked at her godfather.

Her expression seemed to say, How did you bring this bad woman home?

"Oh, little girl, you actually know me. Looks like we'll get along very well."

Harley Quinn was delighted.

Li Ang was very skeptical about that.

Kara's expression had never improved. Li Ang had never seen her this angry before.

So Li Ang could only flee the battlefield. "I'm going to make breakfast. I still need to take Kara to enroll in school later."

"Really? I'm coming too."

Harley Quinn immediately raised her hand to sign up for something so fun.

And it was useless even if they disagreed.

"I don't allow it!"

Kara certainly did not agree.

"How can that do? You're just starting school, so naturally Daddy and Mommy have to go with you."

Harley immediately slipped into the role.

"No!!!"

Kara was no match for her and immediately screamed.

At the open kitchen, Li Ang listened with his heart in his throat. He was worried Kara would lose control and send Harley Quinn flying with a punch.

So he cooked the noodles even faster and hurriedly served breakfast.

Harley Quinn glanced at it and said, "Why isn't there any Kung Pao chicken or saliva chicken like you mentioned last night?"

Seeing Harley Quinn's half-smiling expression, Li Ang immediately glared at her.

Don't mention that in front of Kara!

Kara looked at the two of them in confusion, feeling like she might cry.

It was over. They had secrets!

How did she not know her godfather could make those two dishes?

Harley Quinn took a bite of noodles and said, "Not bad. I like you more and more, honey!"

After breakfast.

Harley Quinn put her lunatic talents to work, leaving Li Ang and Kara no choice but to bring her along.

But she clearly had no clothes here.

She was a little taller than Kara, standing at 1.7 meters, and Kara refused to let her wear her clothes anyway.

But that was no problem for Harley. She simply wore Li Ang's clothes.

A white T-shirt, jeans, and her own long boots were enough.

Without her Harley Quinn makeup, she looked less like a lunatic and instead had a quiet, elegant kind of beauty.

But knowing she was Harley Quinn, Kara, who had always considered herself a champion of justice, had no friendly expression for her.

Her only thought was for this bad woman to leave her godfather as soon as possible.

"Why is Kara only starting school now?"

As they headed out, Harley Quinn asked curiously.

Li Ang explained, "For some special reasons, Kara can't attend her old school anymore, so she can only transfer to another one."

"Oh, poor child."

Harley, acting dramatically, was immediately overcome with "motherly love." She had always been a compassionate person. Moving to Kara's side and grabbing her, she said, "If anyone bullies you at school, tell me. I guarantee I'll blow up the school."

She thought cute little Kara had suffered from school bullying.

After all, that was very common in America, especially in Gotham.

Naturally, Kara did not buy it. "Even if that happens, I'll handle it myself."

"Don't be like that, Kara. I just want to be a good mommy."

Harley Quinn said pitifully, "I've dreamed of having such a cute daughter!"

But her words nearly made Kara lose control.

Kara forcibly restrained herself from punching Harley away and quickly moved to Li Ang's other side.

Harley hurried after her.

She had originally planned to leave once she got tired of playing, but she no longer thought that way.

For the sake of such a cute daughter, she was determined to stick with Li Ang.

With Harley Quinn's exceptionally confident judgment, she felt Kara was not normal and had the potential to go crazy alongside her.

After all, when she had just mentioned blowing up the school, Kara had not refused!
