Background

Han Jue was born into the Ice-Scaled Tribe, a combat-oriented Guixu clan whose members cultivate by absorbing the Northern Sea’s frigid aura. As the tribe’s young master, he became nearly unmatched among Guixu’s younger generation while still at the Mid-Stage Golden Immortal realm. 6

Initially, Han Jue rejected the Sea Spirit Clan’s administration of Guixu, believing that combat strength—not institutional responsibility—should determine authority. At the Martial Practice Arena, he defeated seventeen Realm Guard members and seriously injured a Sea Spirit cultivator while openly challenging Guixu’s order. 6

Lu Chen suppressed him through the Black Tortoise Sea-Calming Formation and imposed a punishment: Han Jue would join the Realm Guard at its lowest rank. He remains impulsive and provocative, particularly in his long-running rivalry with Ao Lie. However, he is capable of restraint when Guixu’s rules or safety require it; he leads formations, accepts responsibility after mistakes, and places external threats above personal grudges. 28 40 41
