Watching Quagsire open its mouth as wide as it could, Xinhai smiled and tossed the Pokéblock in his hand into its mouth.
Quagsire chewed twice, savoring the delicious Pokéblock. Its tiny eyes narrowed into satisfied slits, and a soft "gurgle, gurgle" came from its throat.
Gardevoir accepted the Pokéblocks Xinhai handed over and ate them one by one, her red eyes fixed on him as though checking on his condition.
Xinhai shook his head at her, signaling that he was fine. Then he took out Little Eevee's special Pokéblocks and began feeding them to Little Eevee.
While his companions replenished their strength, Xinhai raised his head and looked out at the sea ahead.
The dark clouds were slowly dispersing, and more and more golden sunlight spilled down, spreading a warm sheen across the ocean.
At the point where sea met sky, a blurry outline emerged—it was an island.
The island's silhouette flickered in and out of view through the damp haze after the rain, like an ink-wash painting moistened by mist.
The rolling curves of its mountains were gentle and tranquil, rising gradually from the sea level and covered in vegetation of varying shades of green.
The island appeared to be quite large, far bigger than the medium-sized island where they had rested before. It stretched across the sea, occupying nearly half of the view ahead.
"Eevee!" Eevee spotted the island too, and its brown eyes immediately lit up. "Eevee, Eevee!" (Xinhai! There's an island!)
Xinhai took the Pokédex from his bag and opened its navigation app.
The screen lit up, and the location marker was slowly blinking over an island icon.
He carefully examined the map information and coordinates, and his brows twitched slightly.
"Hmm... this isn't one of the islands I marked before." His finger swiped across the
