Blaziken and Skarmory both fell unconscious after a head-on clash, but Blaziken regained consciousness long enough to land safely and was declared the winner. Winona sent out Altaria, and Xinhai answered with Gardevoir as the battle continued.

• Winona had Skarmory use Swords Dance, while Xinhai had Blaziken use Bulk Up.
• Winona ordered Brave Bird and Xinhai ordered Fire-Electric Jump Kick, and Skarmory and Blaziken collided head-on in midair.
• Skarmory fell unconscious, while Blaziken woke during its fall, used a Wind Membrane to land, and was recalled by Xinhai.
• Wallace declared Blaziken the winner, and Winona recalled Skarmory before sending out Altaria.
• Xinhai sent out Gardevoir to face Altaria.

Xinhai and Winona battled for the White Feather Badge, with Gardevoir and Altaria trading powerful attacks high above the platform. The chapter ended as Gardevoir’s Spiral Phantom Shadow Ball collided with Altaria’s fused Dragon Ascent and Dragon Pulse, leaving the result unclear.

• Winona sent Altaria to battle Xinhai’s Gardevoir and said the White Feather Badge would be his if he cleared the final hurdle.

• Gardevoir and Altaria’s Hyper Voice attacks clashed evenly until Xinhai ordered Gardevoir to shield itself with Psychic.
