Morgan's introduction had been fairly standard and official.
But until then, the two had barely encountered each other in any Beyonder capacity.
Their only meeting had consisted of a couple of words before they quickly parted.
Neither knew the other's faction, mentor, core powers, or specialties.
Now, through Morgan's official introduction, they had both gained a deeper understanding of each other.
They nodded at the same time.
Just then, a scream came from upstairs.
"Professor! The potion boiler's about to explode!"
Morgan's expression changed. "Professor Carter will tell you about the rest of the mission!"
He vanished on the spot, and his roar rang out from upstairs.
"How much sulfur did you add?!"
A student answered timidly, "Thirty kilograms, just like you said!"
Morgan sounded baffled. "Thirty kilograms is right. Everyone, get back. I'll deploy my domain first."
"That's our last potion boiler! We can't let it explode too!"
Evan's eye twitched as he listened.
Thirty fucking kilograms of sulfur?! Are you brewing potions or developing bombs?!
While Evan grumbled to himself, Carter began speaking.
"This mission will take you to a forest along the Sky River, near Dylas Port."
"Thirteen White Moons has built a fairly secure slave transit point in those woods."
"The slaves are taken to Dylas Port and traded to Coldlanders for large quantities of rubies."
"Those poor people are eventually shipped to the moon aboard Coldlander slave ships, where they become food for the Moon Beasts."
"The organization is also using the technology and abilities provided by the Moon Beasts to excavate an Underground Palace beneath the ruins."
"We don't know its origins, but it's quite possibly connected to the Moon Old King of the Fourth Epoch."
"Thirteen White Moons is desperate to dig it up and offer it to an envoy of God."
