After a curse drew him into a clash with Zack's gang and a Vampire, Hill recruited him as a Demon Hunter and gave him an incomplete transformation potion, while Pulis continued seeking his blood.
Evan endured dangerous drug trials and attacks while the Demon Hunter Characteristic transformed him. After defeating Pulis’s assistant and completing his transformation, he joined Richard and learned more about the factions and his new profession.
Evan embraced his Bloodthirsty Species and Copper Plague transformations, joined Miskatonic University as an investigator, and entered the Hurst family’s orbit while investigating Botis Alcott. After Albert betrayed him, Evan killed Alcott and his followers, but Alcott’s corpse merged with theirs into a flesh giant that attacked him.
Evan killed Alcott, uncovered a dangerous infection spreading through Bolton City, and developed the Copper Plague while learning to brew and combine Magic Potions. After advancing his abilities and helping Richard, he fought Connor Elton and survived an attack that left Connor dead and his apartment exposed.
Evan joined McRae’s agency and worked with Hill and David while his potion experiments drew the attention of the Authorities and the Black Sun. After defeating Jack Alcott and surrendering him to Vic, Evan uncovered the Silver Key’s connection to an ancient Ascension and realized that Byron’s potions were weakening his self-awareness and the Copper Pill was erasing Lane’s memories.
Evan investigated the spreading plague, confronted Pierson, and gained progress in the Mist Brain Plague while uncovering the Red King Laboratory’s experiments. After Wilens Sapp died in a failed ritual, Evan continued the investigation and learned that the plague patients had eaten food from the Puke Canning Factory.
Evan strengthened his Plagues and wings while uncovering the Ghouls’ scheme and rescuing Richard from their lair. After the raid exposed Klaus as a continuing threat, Evan went to Doctor Armitage to begin advancing under his protection.
Evan escorted a Deep One hybrid baby, pursued new potion abilities, and entered Dusk Rose Sanatorium to rescue Hill. He returned to find the Bone Saint Child nearing completion and accepted the task of leading his faction against the ghouls.
Evan’s hunt for Magic Potion threats led him into the Dreamlands, where he fought through Sapp’s ritual and the Son of God’s birth. After defeating Sapp and Kaini, Evan was trapped by Klaus, but Armitage freed him, leaving Klaus alive in a grotesque second form.
After destroying Klaus and surviving the Dreamlands, Evan returned to a city beset by Sapp Group’s monsters and began investigating the forces behind the chaos. His hunt led him to a mutated Rat King, whose flesh advanced Evan’s Star-Driller’s Maw and brought him face-to-face with a red planet covered in giant worms.
Evan traveled to Arkham Town, confronted dangers at Miskatonic University, and accepted a mission against the Thirteen White Moons. The mission led him and Eldin into a ruined palace, where they escaped a monstrous threat and began searching for a way out while hostile Masters closed in.
Evan survived the Blood Moon trials, defeated the Blasphemous Plague’s hosts, and returned to Miskatonic University with new powers and secret followers. After confronting threats tied to Byron and learning more about his own blood, he boarded a train for the dangerous field study in Innsmouth.
Evan uncovered Byron’s betrayal, survived the battle over the Black Sun’s Shadow, and consumed the Devouring Lord. He gained a new power but was left low on Spirituality and needed to return to his body in the Real World.
Evan reunited his soul and body to become a Master, investigated a cult, and sought a way to manage the wishes contaminating his spirituality. He planned a seaborne refuge and accepted a pirate investigation before his upgraded talent led him into the Myriad Tribulations Soul Abyss, where Griffin IV tried to possess him.
