Chinjao the Drill

In his prime, he had been a pirate with a bounty exceeding five hundred million. His peculiar cone-shaped head had earned him the nickname "Chinjao the Drill," and he was also a powerhouse of the old era who had made his name across the seas thirty years ago!

Though he had retired, who knew how much Chinjao's strength had improved?

"Vice Admiral Onigumo, Fleet Admiral Sengoku only sent people like us to capture him. Isn't that a little..."

T Bone stood behind the two Vice Admirals with a long sword on his back as he spoke.

"Against the Happo Navy, against Chinjao, the people on this ship really are a bit too few."

Dalmatian, the Marine Vice Admiral maintaining his spotted dog Hybrid Form, turned and said.

"Chinjao the Drill was once a great pirate who could fight Mr. Garp. Though he is old now, why are we going after him?"

Hina was somewhat puzzled, her gaze falling on the floating Droplet.

If they were taking the Droplet to hunt pirates, shouldn't they seek someone more prominent? Why target Chinjao and make all this effort for so little gain?

"We do not understand Sengoku's intentions either. With just us, facing the Happo Navy would indeed be difficult. But with the Droplet, that may not be the case."

Unlike the others, Onigumo was not nervous. Smiling, he pointed at the dreamlike Droplet floating in the air.

This was a weapon with Admiral-level attack power, incomparably sturdy. Using it casually against some pirate from the New World was simply a waste of its potential.

Someone at Aokiji's level was just right. Do not think retiring after becoming a pirate meant everything was fine. Debts that needed settling would be settled.

T Bone and Hina listened, and even Dalmatian believed what Sengoku had said. Only by leading the campaign against Chinjao could they bring out the Droplet's greatest value.

The Warship sailed toward its destination, moving to intercept the Happo Navy's vessel according to the intelligence.

The Happo Navy's overall strength was indeed formidable. Twenty years ago, they had even clashed with the Roger Pirates several times, so it was only natural for the Marines to feel uneasy.

When they spotted the Happo Navy's flag in the distance, both Hina and T Bone became somewhat tense.

The other Marines also readied themselves for battle. As the leaders, the two Vice Admirals, Onigumo and Dalmatian, remained relatively calm. Once they were within range, they gave the order to fire!

"The Marines are here... They attacked!"

A Happo Navy crewman had just reported to Chinjao when four or five cannonballs came flying toward them. He immediately sounded the alarm.

Cannonballs flew back and forth between both sides as the distance steadily closed.

Sai and Boo, the two brothers among the crew, had already rushed out of the cabin with Chinjao. Seeing that there was only one Warship, they frowned.

"Something's wrong. There are two Vice Admirals aboard. They brought barely a hundred soldiers to cause trouble for us?"

Sai was a little bewildered. Though the Happo Navy had not deployed all its members this time, they still had over five hundred men, several times the enemy's number.

Could the Marines be idiots, deliberately coming here to die?

"Our leader's reputation has fallen. The Marines do not even take us seriously anymore."

The moment Boo saw the enemy lineup, he no longer felt any urgency about being pursued by the Marines.

What a joke. They were not some ordinary pirate crew. These few people wanted to cause trouble? They were practically seeking death.

"Something is indeed off, but they do not seem to have anyone hidden... Come, move closer!"

Chinjao stroked his snow-white beard and observed for a while with caution, afraid that monsters like an Admiral or Garp might be hiding aboard that "brave" Marine Warship.

But there did not seem to be anyone, which made Chinjao rather confused.

What he had not expected was that when the two sides came face-to-face, the two Vice Admirals, Onigumo and Dalmatian, merely stared coldly at Chinjao, Sai, Boo, and the other Happo Navy leaders before saying icily, "Since we ran into you, take a trip to Impel Down today, Chinjao the Drill."

They had come specifically to capture them!

Upon hearing that, Aokiji, Sai, and the others were somewhat stunned. Once they recovered, they could not help bursting into laughter.

"Marine Vice Admirals, that is no low rank. But have you not woken up yet, or have you gone mad for merits?"

"Just a hundred men, plus a few officers like you, think you can capture our Violent Pirates?"

Sai and Boo clutched their stomachs as they laughed, their laughter carrying a hint of arrogance.

Aokiji even looked at them sideways in disdain.

To capture half of the Happo Navy, at least five Vice Admirals would need to act. Besides, without sufficient strength, Aokiji believed he could easily deal with the Marines before him.

Mockery, blatant mockery!

Dalmatian, Hina, T-Bone, and the other officers darkened, drawing their weapons with fierce glints in their eyes.

Onigumo merely gave a low chuckle, completely unconcerned by the mockery. At the same time, he took out a small ring and pressed it against the side of his head.

At that moment, the Droplet floating above the Warship's deck moved as well, stopping half a meter behind Onigumo, who wore the Controller.

"Chinjao, being too arrogant will bring retribution. And do not forget, your wanted poster has always hung on the Marine walls."

Onigumo's tone was aggressive, as though he looked down on Chinjao.

It gave Chinjao a strange feeling. They were clearly at the disadvantage, so why had they come looking for a fight, and why were they acting even more arrogantly?

Something was wrong!

The hairs in Aokiji's beard fluttered and stood on end. He was somewhat angered, yet inwardly cautious.

But now that the Marines had brought this handful of people to provoke them, there was no reason to avoid battle. Chinjao decided to knock them down first, setting his sights on Onigumo.

The next second, Chinjao prepared to strike and seize the opposing Vice Admiral. An immense aura erupted from him, forcing Sai and Boo to retreat a good distance.

"Brat, let me see what ability you have today to send this old man to Impel Down!"

Aokiji's Armament Haki covered his hands, while Conqueror's Haki erupted violently from his eyes!

Hina, T-Bone, and the other young Marines were startled by Chinjao's aura, sweat beading on their foreheads.

Truly worthy of an old-era powerhouse.

But the next second, the incomparably smooth Droplet reflected the color of the sea as it floated up.

"What is that thing?"

The instant that thought surfaced in Chinjao's mind, every hair on his body stood on end as his senses frantically warned him!

In his field of vision, the droplet-shaped object reflecting the color of the sea rapidly grew larger!

It was so fast that Chinjao could not make any further reaction. He could only raise his hands and channel all his Armament Haki to block in front of him!

Bang!

Without the slightest surprise, Chinjao flew away like a kite with its string cut. The Droplet rammed him straight through the ship and into the sea, sending water spraying into the air.

T-Bone, Hina, and the other Marines watched with shining eyes. Chinjao could not withstand the Droplet at all!

Sai, Boo, and the other Happo Navy members were thoroughly shocked, their faces changing in alarm.

Their leader had actually been sent flying!

"Attack! Capture everyone from the Happo Navy!"

Dalmatian laughed loudly at that moment. As he gave the order, he leaped first toward the Happo Navy's ship!
