Background / History
Sig encounters Ye Tong after Dragon leaves Ye Tong stranded atop Mount Colubo. Sig's men construct a ladder of iron hooks to bring Ye Tong down, while Sig eyes Ye Tong's Great Grade Blade, Falling Rain, with greed. Ye Tong interrupts Sig's introduction by asking whether he has any trash to discard. 11
Taking the request as an insult, Sig orders his men to attack. Ye Tong kills the attackers and breaks their weapons with Falling Rain. Horrified by the massacre, Sig surrenders every possession he has—including his underwear—in exchange for his life. Ye Tong accepts the discarded belongings, gains Basic Swordsmanship 2 from Sig's longsword, and allows Sig to flee. 12
Ye Tong later calls Sig back and forces him to act as a guide to Curly Dadan's home. Terrified of Ye Tong, Sig complies. 13
While guiding Ye Tong and Ghost Bear, Sig secretly plans to lead them to Dadan's bandits, hoping Ye Tong will eliminate them and leave Mount Colubo for Sig to reclaim. The plan does not visibly succeed; Sig reaches Dadan's home battered and apparently naked, where Dadan punches him. 14
Personality
Sig is greedy and opportunistic. His immediate interest in Falling Rain leads him to treat Ye Tong as a potential victim, despite knowing little about his strength. 11
After seeing Ye Tong kill his men, Sig becomes fearful and submissive, abandoning his pride and possessions to survive. Even while obeying Ye Tong, however, he continues looking for ways to exploit Ye Tong's strength for his own territorial ambitions. 12 14
