Roya looked over at Ace.

Then he turned to Tom. "Mr. Tom, how about we make a deal?"

"A deal?"

"Yes. This man is the Pirate King's son. I'm sure he feels deeply guilty about the trouble he's brought you."

Roya paused, then continued, "He's my subordinate, and as his leader, I'm responsible for his actions. So I'll make sure you're cleared of all charges. The Marines won't pursue you any further, and I promise to save Water City when it matters most. What do you say?"

Roya spoke slowly as he addressed Tom.

But Tom had already frozen.

He had heard what Roya had just said.

The Pirate King's son!

Tom could hardly believe it.

The Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, had a child!

If that news got out,

it would cause an unprecedented uproar!

And most shocking of all,

the Pirate King's son was Zero's subordinate!

It was simply unheard of.

Tom fell into thought.

He had to admit that what Roya had said

was extremely tempting.

Tom had long since grown sick of the Marines' constant pressure!

All he wanted was to work on what he wanted to study,

preferably in Water City!

This was his hometown, after all.

At that thought, Tom laughed. "Since you've put it that way, Leader, I agree. But I should say this up front: if the Marines arrest me while I'm building the ship, don't blame me."

"They won't."

As soon as Roya spoke,

he swept out his hand. Adam, which he had kept in the System Space, appeared out of thin air before Tom.

For Adam to have appeared at Doflamingo's auction, it had to be of exceptional quality!

"Money is no object. Mr. Tom, I want you to build a ship that surpasses Gol Roger's with your own hands."
