Arc 13The Thunder God’s Campaign

Fang Xu ended Sunagakure’s campaign, expanded his research and training projects, and defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist while rescuing Might Duy’s team. After preparing Tsunade and Nazi for senjutsu training, he struck the Hidden Mist front, where Kaguya refused to surrender despite Kirigakure’s defeat.

  • Fang Xu annihilated Sunagakure’s attack on Konoha’s field hospital, defeated Rasa, subdued Shukaku, and forced Chiyo to accept surrender and pay 150 million ryō in ransom.
  • Fang Xu brought Orochimaru into his forces, arranged the Sunagakure armistice, and told Tsunade the war was over as he planned to gather materials for Gravity Training Rooms and Universal Capsules.
  • Fang Xu mined vast metal and Gale Stone deposits, built Gravity Training Rooms for Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Yuhi, and invited Tsunade to become Fourth Hokage, but she chose training and travel.
  • When the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist cornered Might Duy and the young ninja he was protecting, Fang Xu answered Might Guy’s call and trapped six swordsmen in a Wood Release forest while Might Duy defeated Jūzō Biwa.
  • Fang Xu defeated and sealed the Six-Tails, healed Might Duy’s injuries, and returned with Might Duy, Might Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro to Konoha, where Hiruzen promised to recognize Duy’s achievements.
  • Fang Xu gave Tsunade and Nazi senjutsu records and provisions before they traveled to Shikkotsu Forest, then went to the Hidden Mist Battlefield and broke Kirigakure’s formation with Railgun shots.
  • Black Zetsu persuaded Uchiha En to leave for the Land of Rain, while Fang Xu froze the sea and trapped thousands of Mist Ninja, and Hozuki Blood Moon offered surrender, but Kaguya refused and Hatake Sakumo wounded him.
Chapters 301–325 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 301So the war must end as soon as possible

Fang Xu showed Tsunade, Kurenai Yuhi, and Nazi how gravity training accelerated the Lightning Body-Tempering Technique, then outlined a plan to mine resources and expand the Dawn Group’s production and communications. Tsunade warned that mining in other countries could provoke conflict, and Fang Xu said the Third Shinobi World War had to end as soon as possible.

  • Fang Xu helped Kurenai Yuhi adjust to the Gravity Room while she, Tsunade, and Nazi trained with the Lightning Body-Tempering Technique.
  • Kurenai Yuhi and Tsunade found that gravity greatly increased the training’s effectiveness, and Tsunade and Kurenai Yuhi asked Fang Xu for their own Gravity Rooms.
  • Fang Xu said he could build the machines using Dr. Brief’s manufacturing process, and Nazi suggested obtaining special metals from the Pokémon World.
  • Fang Xu said he would mine ore in the Land of Earth, the Land of Wind, the Land of Lightning, and the Land of Iron to produce Gravity Rooms and Universal Capsules.
  • Fang Xu described plans to use Shadow Clones and release techniques for mining and refining, and to acquire satellite communications technology for the Dawn Group.
  • Tsunade warned that mining in other countries could provoke their shinobi villages during the Third Shinobi World War, and Fang Xu said the war must end as soon as possible.

Ch. 302Heads hit the ground

Fang Xu decided to end the Shinobi World War and began coordinating plans to strengthen Konoha and develop new technology. At the Sand Village frontline, he and Tsunade intervened in an attack on the Field Hospital, where Fang Xu began cutting down the invading Sand Ninja.

  • Fang Xu explained to Tsunade that he would not let Konoha's leadership keep sacrificing its people, and Tsunade agreed to take responsibility for his actions as Hokage.
  • Fang Xu divided up research tasks among shadow clones, then planned to advance his cultivation, technology, and mineral-extraction projects in parallel.
  • The next morning, Fang Xu left a wood clone in Konoha to help Kurenai, Yugao, and Shizune manage teams and missions before taking Tsunade and Nazi to the Sand Village frontline.
  • A Sunagakure force attacked the Field Hospital, and Tsunade killed two attackers while rushing to protect the wounded.
  • Fang Xu and Nazi took to the sky; Fang Xu scattered ice swords marked with Flying Thunder God Formulas across the battlefield and teleported among them, beheading the Sand Ninja who had attacked the hospital.

Ch. 303Unstoppable!

Fang Xu slaughtered the Sunagakure attackers at the Field Hospital, giving Tsunade and Nazi time to treat the wounded, then arrived at the front and broke Rasa’s attack on the surrounded Konoha Jonin. He left the battlefield hovering above a golden cloud of Rasa’s disarmed gold dust.

  • Fang Xu used Ice Release-marked Flying Thunder God swords to kill all fifty-six Sunagakure elites attacking the Field Hospital.
  • Tsunade organized the Medical Corps while Nazi used her psychic power to locate and move wounded Konoha Ninjas for treatment.
  • Orochimaru struggled against Chiyo and Ebizo as Rasa trapped more than a dozen Konoha Jonin in a massive Gold Dust Great Burial.
  • Fang Xu struck the gold dust with a lightning spear, freed the surrounded Konoha Jonin, and severed Rasa’s control over the gold dust.
  • The gold dust gathered into a cloud above the battlefield as Fang Xu descended and hovered in the sky.

Ch. 304Even seeing it firsthand, it still far exceeded expectations

Fang Xu seized Rasa’s gold dust and used Flying Thunder God to slaughter hundreds of Sand Ninja before stripping away Rasa’s remaining gold dust and sealing him in ice. As Konoha’s forces praised Fang Xu and condemned their leaders, Orochimaru reconsidered how to negotiate with him.

  • Fang Xu took control of Rasa’s gold dust and rained more than ten thousand marked blades on Sunagakure’s position, killing hundreds of Sand Ninja.
  • Fang Xu teleported among the Flying Thunder God coordinates on the blades and killed more Sand Ninja while Rasa failed to catch him.
  • Fang Xu accused Rasa of targeting weaker Konoha ninja and declared that Sunagakure had lost over four hundred fighters, prompting Konoha ninja to criticize Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō.
  • Rasa summoned his remaining underground gold dust and launched Gold Dust Imperial Funeral, but Fang Xu used electromagnetic force to take it all.
  • Rasa charged Fang Xu, who froze and sealed him with Sage Art: Ice Release: Ground Geyser.
  • Orochimaru watched Fang Xu subdue Rasa and considered offering valuable research in exchange for Fang Xu’s cultivation system.

Ch. 305Already beyond what ordinary sealing techniques of the Shinobi World could achieve

Fang Xu defeated the rampaging Shukaku and sealed him inside a palm-sized transparent sphere, ending Sunagakure’s hopes of turning the battle around. Orochimaru watched the unprecedented sealing technique with renewed interest in cooperating with Fang Xu.

  • Shukaku broke free at the Sunagakure camp and attacked Konoha, but Fang Xu stopped his attacks with Thunder Bird and struck him down with a Sage Art Rasenshuriken.
  • Chiyo and Ebizo realized Sunagakure had been decisively defeated after Rasa was captured, Shukaku fell, and the village lost hundreds of ninja.
  • Shukaku tried to attack again, but Fang Xu used the Void Sphere sealing technique to compress him into a palm-sized transparent sphere.
  • Fang Xu taunted Shukaku and carried the sphere at his waist while the Konoha ninja marveled at the seal.
  • Orochimaru studied the sphere and recognized that Fang Xu’s technique surpassed ordinary sealing techniques.

Ch. 306Our intelligence was wrong from the start

Fang Xu destroyed Chiyo’s puppets and forced Sunagakure to surrender, then demanded 150 million ryō to release Rasa and Shukaku. As the Sand forces withdrew, Chiyo and Ebizo realized their defeat stemmed from faulty intelligence and questioned the Third Kazekage’s disappearance.

  • Chiyo sent the Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets against Fang Xu, but he froze and destroyed all ten.
  • Fang Xu offered Sunagakure the choice of continuing the fight or surrendering and negotiating reparations, and Chiyo accepted unconditional surrender.
  • Orochimaru arranged the ceasefire terms, while Fang Xu demanded 50 million ryō for Rasa and 100 million ryō for Shukaku.
  • Chiyo and Ebizo agreed to pay the 150 million ryō ransom in a single payment, and Sunagakure’s remaining troops withdrew.
  • Chiyo asked about the missing elite squad, and Ebizo concluded they had died in Fang Xu’s Gold Dust Sword Rain.
  • Ebizo said Sunagakure’s intelligence had been wrong from the start, and Chiyo wondered who had killed the Third Kazekage and erased every trace.

Ch. 307Long-term cooperation

After Konoha’s losses fueled anger at Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō, Fang Xu and Orochimaru discussed the village’s leadership and the coming Hokage succession. Orochimaru rejected the prospect of becoming Fourth Hokage and proposed a long-term partnership with Fang Xu to pursue immortality and supernatural power.

  • Ebizo and Chiyo decided to investigate Sasori of the Red Sands after the war, regardless of whether he had been involved in the Third Kazekage’s disappearance.
  • Konoha ninja gathering their dead blamed Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō for prolonging the war and demanded that the Hokage be replaced.
  • Orochimaru told Fang Xu that resentment against Konoha’s leadership had spread among the frontline ninja, the wounded, bereaved families, and clans affected by Root.
  • Fang Xu declared that Hiruzen Sarutobi would have to step down and asked Orochimaru whether he wanted to become Fourth Hokage, but Orochimaru refused.
  • Orochimaru told Fang Xu that he wanted immortality and a complete system of supernatural power, then offered his research in exchange for techniques involving life extension, senjutsu, and bloodline limits.

Ch. 308Ransom

Fang Xu recruited Orochimaru by giving him a Spatial Bracelet and basic pharmaceutical documentation, then prepared to collect Sunagakure’s ransom for Rasa and Shukaku. Sunagakure paid the full 150 million ryō, while Fang Xu planned to extract some of Shukaku’s chakra before the handover.

  • Fang Xu accepted Orochimaru into his forces and assigned him to oversee core research projects.
  • Fang Xu gave Orochimaru a Spatial Bracelet containing basic pharmaceutical documentation and promised the core life-extending potion research after Orochimaru mastered it.
  • A Konoha guard reported that Chiyo and Ebizo had arrived with Sunagakure’s ransom, and Fang Xu said he would extract some of Shukaku’s chakra before the handover.
  • Chiyo demanded that Rasa be released first, and Fang Xu undid the chakra seal on the ice while leaving Rasa frozen.
  • Orochimaru and Konoha’s finance ninjas verified the Sealing Boxes, confirming that Sunagakure had paid the full 150 million ryō.

Ch. 309It was finally over

Fang Xu extracted most of Shukaku’s chakra before returning him and Rasa to Sunagakure, leaving the Sand delegation unable to continue the war. With the front’s handover complete, Tsunade learned the fighting was over and hoped to take a long trip in another world.

  • Fang Xu drained Shukaku’s chakra into two Runic Space Orbs, then handed the sealed One-Tail back to Chiyo.
  • Chiyo and Ebizo transferred Shukaku into a Tailed Beast Sealing Urn, while Rasa regained his freedom from the ice.
  • Chiyo led the defeated Sunagakure delegation away after losing its ransom money, forces, puppets, and gold dust.
  • Fang Xu left Orochimaru to negotiate the armistice and reparations, then went to the Field Hospital.
  • Fang Xu told Tsunade that Sunagakure had withdrawn and the war was over, and Tsunade said she wanted to travel in another world.

Ch. 310Striving to catch up

Fang Xu planned to gather minerals from the Land of Wind, the Land of Earth, and the Land of Lightning to manufacture Gravity Training Rooms and Universal Capsules, while also seeking satellite technology for long-distance communication. After returning to Konoha, he met Might Guy, who vowed to train until he could challenge Fang Xu.

  • Fang Xu told Tsunade and Nazi that he would mine the three countries for materials to manufacture Gravity Training Rooms and Universal Capsules.
  • Tsunade offered to fund mineral purchases, but Fang Xu and Nazi discussed gathering ore themselves instead.
  • Fang Xu said he would survey the ore veins after handling Team 10's mission and seek satellite technology through Cross-World Exchange.
  • Fang Xu sent Shadow Clones into the Spatial Ring World to study the manufacturing processes and returned to Konoha using Flying Thunder God.
  • Might Guy told Fang Xu he had become a Genin and vowed to train until he could challenge him.

Ch. 311The three joined forces to attack

Fang Xu gave Might Duy and Might Guy Flying Thunder God swords, then tested his three students after a month of farmwork and approved them for C-Rank Missions. That evening, he, Tsunade, and Nazi trained under gravity with the Lightning Body-Tempering Technique, and Haku promised to build them individual Gravity Training Rooms once mineral extraction was complete.

  • Fang Xu gave Might Duy and Might Guy swords marked with Flying Thunder God Coordinates so they could summon him for help, and Might Guy rushed off to challenge Kakashi.
  • Fang Xu told Kurenai Yuhi, Uzuki Yugao, and Shizune Kato that their chakra control had reached the required standard and ordered them to meet at the Hokage Tower for C-Rank Missions the next morning.
  • Fang Xu had the three girls attack him together, then explained how their month of D-Rank farmwork had improved their skills and teamwork; they apologized and finished clearing the field without complaint.
  • Tsunade and Nazi returned to Konoha, and Fang Xu took them into the Spatial Ring World to train with the Lightning Body-Tempering Technique in the Gravity Training Room.
  • Haku told Fang Xu, Tsunade, and Nazi that she would build a separate Gravity Training Room for each of them after mineral extraction was complete.

Ch. 312Mine has to be just like yours

Fang Xu used his knowledge and abilities to prepare for building Gravity Rooms, then traveled to the Land of Wind to mine metals and discovered a vast vein of Gale Stones. He brought the stones into the Spatial Ring World and found that their life energy could restore vitality and accelerate his physical training and Viridian Force growth.

  • Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Yuhi asked Fang Xu to make them Gravity Rooms, and he explained that each room's gravity would need to match its user's strength.
  • Fang Xu showed Tsunade and Nazi that he could manufacture the Gravity Room components himself, but said he needed several million tons of ordinary metals plus chakra metal and lightning-attribute ore.
  • Fang Xu decided to mine the Land of Wind, the Land of Earth, and the Land of Lightning, then left a Wood Clone in charge of Team 10 and traveled to the Land of Wind.
  • Fang Xu used Earth Release and lightning to extract and refine a huge iron and copper vein while Sand Ninja watched from a distance.
  • Fang Xu found a deep underground vein of Gale Stones and moved the entire deposit into the Spatial Ring World.
  • Fang Xu tested the Gale Stones and discovered that their life energy restored his cells, accelerated Lightning Body-Tempering and sage-body evolution, and raised Viridian Force's potential.

Ch. 313Whoever wants the job can have it

Fang Xu gathered metals across the Lands of Wind, Earth, and Lightning and built an industrial production line that produced six Gravity Training Rooms. After Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Yuhi tested their rooms, Tsunade rejected Fang Xu’s proposal that she become the Fourth Hokage.

  • Fang Xu stripped metals from mining areas in three nations and stored millions of tons of refined materials.
  • Fang Xu used the metals to build an automated production zone and assemble six Gravity Training Rooms with Gelel Life Energy systems.
  • Haku delivered Gravity Rooms to Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Yuhi, and all three tested how the rooms helped their bodies endure increased gravity.
  • Fang Xu told Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Yuhi he planned to take them on an extended journey through the Pokémon World after Team 10 completed its first C-Rank Missions.
  • Fang Xu asked Tsunade to become the Fourth Hokage, but she refused because she wanted to train and travel instead.

Ch. 314Hoping for reinforcements?

On the Hidden Mist Battlefield, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist cornered Might Duy and the three young Konoha ninja. Might Duy prepared to open the Eighth Gate while Might Guy activated Fang Xu's Flying Thunder God Short Sword, but Raiga Kurosuki attacked before help could arrive.

  • Uchiha En controlled Kaguya and ordered Kirigakure to intensify its offensive, sending the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist to strike Konoha's rear with the Six-Tails Jinchuriki supporting them.
  • Jūzō Biwa attacked Might Guy, but Might Duy intervened and shielded Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro.
  • Might Duy told Might Guy to escape with Ebisu and Aoba while he held off the Mist swordsmen, but Guy refused to leave his father behind.
  • The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist gathered around them, blocking their escape as Might Duy warned Guy about his resolve to protect those he loved.
  • Might Duy began preparing to open the Eighth Gate, but Might Guy activated Fang Xu's Flying Thunder God Short Sword to call for help.
  • Raiga Kurosuki launched Lightning Release: Thunder Burial: Thunder Feast before they could wait for reinforcements.

Ch. 315They Must Attack Together!

Fang Xu arrived in time to save Might Duy and the three boys from Raiga Kurosuki’s lightning attack, then faced the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. After the boys learned their teacher had died, Fang Xu and Might Duy began fighting the Mist swordsmen together.

  • Fang Xu absorbed Raiga Kurosuki’s lightning with his Electricity Storage Space bracelet and revealed himself as the Konoha Thunder God.
  • Fang Xu reprimanded Might Duy for nearly opening the Eighth Gate and told him to use the Flying Thunder God Short Sword to call for help.
  • Fang Xu told Might Duy that their teacher had died, and the three boys retreated to watch the battle.
  • Fang Xu assigned Jūzō Biwa to Might Duy and prepared to fight the other six swordsmen himself.
  • The six Mist swordsmen attacked together, but Fang Xu used Sage Art: Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence to trap them, while Might Duy intercepted Jūzō Biwa.

Ch. 316Give Me Back My Chakra!

Fang Xu’s Sage Arts Wood Release overwhelmed the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, draining the chakra from four of them and leaving Suikazan Fuguki and Raiga Kurosuki surrounded. Samehada rejected the senjutsu chakra, and Fuguki was killed as the roots drained him, while Raiga’s fate remained unresolved.

  • Kushimaru Kuriarare, Munashi Jinpachi, Jinin Akebino, and Hozuki Mangetsu were bound by Fang Xu’s roots and drained of their chakra until they died.
  • Suikazan Fuguki and Raiga Kurosuki tried to fight their way through the growing Tree World, but the roots kept regenerating.
  • Suikazan Fuguki forced Samehada to absorb a root’s chakra, but Samehada went berserk and spat out the senjutsu chakra.
  • Suikazan Fuguki tried to escape with Water Release, but the roots absorbed the water and bound him after Samehada refused to help.
  • The roots pulled Samehada from Suikazan Fuguki’s grasp and drained his chakra until he died.

Ch. 317He was actually this strong

Fang Xu killed five of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist with Sage Arts Wood Release, while Raiga Kurosuki died trying to escape the forest. Might Duy opened the Seventh Gate and killed Jūzō Biwa, leaving Might Guy inspired by his father’s strength.

  • Raiga Kurosuki exhausted himself trying to escape Fang Xu’s endless forest and was dragged to his death by its roots.
  • Ebisu and Aoba Yamashiro realized Fang Xu had crushed six Kirigakure elites in only a dozen breaths.
  • Jūzō Biwa fled toward the water, but Might Duy opened the Seventh Gate and caught up with him.
  • Might Duy used Daytime Tiger to shatter the Kubikiribōchō and fatally wound Jūzō Biwa.
  • Might Guy watched his father’s victory and resolved that perseverance could make anyone a powerful shinobi.

Ch. 318The Eighth Gate would only be more terrifying

Fang Xu recognized the Eight Gates’ potential and planned to learn and improve the technique after witnessing Might Duy defeat Jūzō Biwa. The group recovered the Seven Ninja Swordsmen’s weapons, and Fang Xu kept the blades, intending to hand only Shibuki over to Konoha.

  • Fang Xu examined the damage caused by Might Duy’s Seventh Gate and resolved to learn and refine the Eight Gates to overcome its lethal cost.
  • Might Duy returned with Jūzō Biwa’s corpse, and Fang Xu, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro agreed that Duy’s victory and protection of the Genin deserved a reassessment of his rank.
  • Fang Xu used the Tree World to gather six ninja blades, sealed Samehada, and stored the weapons in his Spatial Ring.
  • Fang Xu demonstrated that the Kubikiribōchō could regrow its broken blade by absorbing iron from Jūzō Biwa’s blood.
  • Might Duy gave Fang Xu the Kubikiribōchō, and Fang Xu decided to keep six of the seven swords and hand Shibuki over to Konoha.

Ch. 319The mere Six-Tails posed no threat to me

Fang Xu defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and concealed nothing about his Wood Release from his allies. After the team recovered their fallen leader’s body, Fang Xu sensed the approaching Six-Tails Jinchuriki and prepared to face him alone.

  • Might Duy, Might Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro speculated that Fang Xu descended from the Senju, and Fang Xu explained his ancestry and recent awakening of Wood Release.
  • Ebisu, Aoba Yamashiro, Might Duy, and Might Guy promised to keep Fang Xu’s Wood Release secret, but Fang Xu said he did not fear others learning about it.
  • Fang Xu withdrew the tree roots, sealed away the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist’s bodies, and led the others to their team leader’s body.
  • Might Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro mourned their teacher and sealed his remains so they could return him to Konoha.
  • Fang Xu sensed the approaching Six-Tails Jinchuriki and told Might Duy to escort the others back while he stayed to fight.

Ch. 320Do not fight that human!

Fang Xu defeated and extracted the Six-Tails, then kept its jinchuriki alive only long enough to confirm how tailed beast extraction caused death. He sealed the Six-Tails in a sphere and drained nearly half its chakra, leaving it weakened and trapped.

  • Aoba Yamashiro and Might Duy left with the three children after realizing they would only hinder Fang Xu.
  • The Six-Tails Jinchuriki fled when he recognized Fang Xu, but Fang Xu caught him with a Sage Art: Rasengan.
  • The Six-Tails emerged in its complete form and attacked with corrosive liquid, but Fang Xu struck it with a Sage Art: Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.
  • Fang Xu forcibly extracted the Six-Tails and sealed it inside a Void Sphere, then treated the jinchuriki until Viridian Force temporarily stabilized him.
  • The jinchuriki died after Fang Xu withdrew his Viridian Force, and Fang Xu sealed his body in a scroll.
  • Fang Xu linked a second sphere to the Six-Tails' prison and drained nearly half of its chakra, leaving it weakened.

Ch. 321Fang Xu, thank you!

Fang Xu healed Might Duy’s injuries and old Eight Gates damage, then used Flying Thunder God to bring Might Duy, Might Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro back to Konoha. The group arrived safely but suffered severe nausea from the teleportation, and Ebisu and Aoba Yamashiro said they would rather walk next time.

  • Fang Xu found Might Duy and his companions and healed Might Duy’s battle injuries and long-standing damage from Eight Gates training.
  • Might Duy thanked Fang Xu, and Might Guy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro also expressed their gratitude for his help.
  • Fang Xu offered to take the group to Konoha with Flying Thunder God, and all four companions placed their hands on his.
  • Fang Xu teleported the group to the Konoha Gate, where Might Guy, Might Duy, Ebisu, and Aoba Yamashiro promptly vomited from the disorientation.
  • After recovering, Ebisu and Aoba Yamashiro said they did not want to experience Flying Thunder God group teleportation again.

Ch. 322The village will not forget his sacrifice

Fang Xu reported the destruction of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and the sealing of the Six-Tails to Hiruzen Sarutobi, explaining Might Duy’s strength and sacrifice. Hiruzen agreed to reassess Might Duy and arrange honors for the fallen team leader, while Fang Xu kept the Void Sphere technique to himself.

  • Fang Xu brought Might Duy and the three young ninja back to Konoha, then went to the Hokage Office at Hiruzen Sarutobi’s request.
  • Fang Xu told Hiruzen that Might Duy killed Jūzō Biwa, he killed the other six Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and he sealed the Six-Tails.
  • Fang Xu explained that Might Duy had mastered the Eight Gates through years of training and had nearly opened the fatal Eighth Gate to save the three children.
  • Hiruzen acknowledged that Konoha had overlooked Might Duy and promised to reassess his rank and reward his achievements.
  • Fang Xu gave Hiruzen scrolls containing the Seven Ninja Swordsmen’s bodies and the fallen team leader’s remains, but refused to share the Void Sphere technique.
  • Hiruzen promised to arrange the team leader’s burial and death benefits, saying the village would not forget his sacrifice.

Ch. 323I want to master this power

Fang Xu gained Hiruzen Sarutobi’s approval to continue the war effort, with orders to end the fighting against Kirigakure and then Iwagakure. As Tsunade and Nazi prepared to train in Shikkotsu Forest, Fang Xu gave them his senjutsu cultivation insights, while Konoha’s future leadership remained unresolved.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi gave Fang Xu basic controls for the Void Sphere and agreed that he should go to the Hidden Mist Battlefield and then the Hidden Stone Battlefield to end the war.
  • Fang Xu returned home and told Tsunade that Hiruzen Sarutobi had accepted the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist’s bodies, Shibuki, and the Six-Tails without asking about the other six ninja blades.
  • Tsunade warned that Hiruzen Sarutobi would likely have to step down after the war and discussed the possible candidates for Fourth Hokage with Fang Xu and Nazi.
  • Tsunade and Nazi said they planned to go to Shikkotsu Forest to train in senjutsu and strengthen their abilities.
  • Fang Xu gave Tsunade and Nazi jade slips recording his senjutsu cultivation insights, including methods for sensing natural energy and avoiding loss of control.

Ch. 324Fang Xu is here!

Tsunade and Nazi prepared to train in Shikkotsu Forest, and Fang Xu sent them off with Senjutsu records and supplies. He then arrived at the Hidden Mist Battlefield, where his attack devastated Kirigakure’s forces, but Kaguya ordered them to keep fighting.

  • Tsunade and Nazi reviewed the Senjutsu records, and Fang Xu provided them with a time-stopped food warehouse and the Gourmet Tablecloth.
  • Tsunade summoned Katsuyu and traveled with Nazi to Shikkotsu Forest after Fang Xu warned them to maintain a stable balance of energies.
  • Fang Xu used Flying Thunder God to reach the Hidden Mist Battlefield and killed over a hundred Kirigakure ninja with two Railgun shots.
  • Kirigakure’s formation broke and Konoha’s morale surged, but Kaguya threatened to brand retreating ninja as missing-nin and ordered the attack to continue.
  • Uchiha En watched Fang Xu through Kaguya’s vision and recognized him.

Ch. 325Don't Be Rash

Black Zetsu persuaded Uchiha En to abandon the Hidden Mist Battlefield and travel to the Land of Rain, while Fang Xu froze the sea and overwhelmed Kirigakure’s forces. Hozuki Blood Moon called for Kirigakure’s surrender, but Kaguya rejected it and attacked Konoha before Hatake Sakumo struck him down.

  • Black Zetsu warned Uchiha En that Fang Xu was too powerful to confront and told him to abandon the battlefield for the sake of the plan involving Nagato and the Rinnegan.
  • Uchiha En and Black Zetsu left for the Land of Rain as Fang Xu descended onto the sea.
  • Fang Xu used Sage Art: Ice Release: Ice Age to freeze the sea, trap thousands of Mist Ninja, and spare the Konoha forces.
  • Hozuki Blood Moon emerged from the ice and offered Kirigakure’s surrender, but Kaguya refused and ordered the Mist Ninja to keep fighting.
  • Kaguya charged Konoha’s positions, and Hatake Sakumo wounded him with the White Fang short blade before knocking him through two ice pillars.
