Arc 14The Battlefield Victor's New Path

Fang Xu forced Kirigakure and Iwagakure to surrender, gathered tailed beast chakra, and developed new cultivation methods while making plans for future research. He brought Kurenai and Tsunade into his training, uncovered more of Madara's scheme through Kakuzu, and ended by offering Wood Release to Hatake Sakumo and Kakashi.

  • Fang Xu secured Kirigakure's surrender and full reparations, then returned to the Hidden Stone Battlefield and captured Ōnoki, Roshi, and Iwagakure's leaders before forcing Iwagakure to withdraw.
  • Fang Xu collected chakra from the Two-Tails and Chōmei, stole Hoshigakure's Star, and reported his victories to Hiruzen Sarutobi while insisting on full reparations.
  • Fang Xu visited Tsunade and Nazi in Shikkotsu Forest, explained his safer approach to Senjutsu, and obtained Tsunade's letter of introduction to Kushina for his Nine-Tails chakra research.
  • Fang Xu exchanged resources for an enhanced Six Treasury Immortal Thief, developed the Human Immortal Martial Way, and sent a Wood Clone to Kirigakure to collect bloodline samples.
  • Kakuzu told Fang Xu that Nagato controlled the Six Paths of Pain, and Fang Xu revealed Madara's plan to use Rinne Rebirth to resurrect himself before instructing Kakuzu to remain undercover.
  • Fang Xu took Kurenai to Shikkotsu Forest, taught her, Tsunade, and Nazi Six Treasury Immortal Thief, and gave them long-distance communication runes.
  • Fang Xu told Hatake Sakumo that he intended to focus on cultivation and research, then revealed his Wood Release and offered to grant the ability to Sakumo and Kakashi.
Chapters 326–350 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 326Accept Reality

Hozuki Blood Moon surrendered Kirigakure to Fang Xu after Fang Xu froze thousands of Mist Ninja and threatened to attack the Land of Water. After agreeing to pay reparations and ransom, Hozuki Blood Moon learned that the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and the Six-Tails Jinchuriki had been killed, and accepted that Kirigakure would need to negotiate with Konoha for their remains and belongings.

  • Hozuki Blood Moon knocked Cangya unconscious and offered Fang Xu Kirigakure’s surrender, withdrawal, and war reparations in exchange for freeing the trapped Mist Ninja.
  • Fang Xu demanded full reparations and separate ransoms, warning that he would attack the Land of Water if Kirigakure refused.
  • Hozuki Blood Moon accepted Fang Xu’s terms, and Fang Xu released the ice pillars so the surviving Mist Ninja could rescue their comrades.
  • Fang Xu told Hozuki Blood Moon that the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist had been wiped out and the Six-Tails Jinchuriki had died, while the Six-Tails had been handed to Konoha.
  • Fang Xu said the bodies and Ninja Blades were in Konoha, and Hozuki Blood Moon accepted that Kirigakure would have to negotiate their return with Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Ch. 327The war wasn't completely over yet

Fang Xu defeated Kirigakure and insisted that it pay full war reparations, then used his exchange talent to send chakra resources and techniques to Li Lei in the Smiling Proudly World. Li Lei discovered that his system’s transmigration plugin had vanished, leaving him unable to leave his world.

  • Fang Xu told Hatake Sakumo that Sunagakure had paid 150 million ryō and that he planned to make Iwagakure withdraw to end the war.
  • Fang Xu instructed Nara Shikaku to demand full reparations from Kirigakure, even if Hiruzen Sarutobi or the Advisory Council objected.
  • Fugaku Uchiha and Hizashi Hyuga privately considered how Fang Xu’s power might change their clans’ circumstances, while Hatake Sakumo said he wanted to return to teaching Kakashi.
  • Fang Xu rested in a deserted valley, then used his exchange talent to send Li Lei chakra techniques, tailed beast chakra, and other resources.
  • Li Lei discovered that his system’s Random Transmigration Plugin had disappeared and that he could no longer travel to another world.
  • Li Lei received Fang Xu’s exchanged items, but remained dejected because they could not restore his ability to leave the Smiling Proudly World.

Ch. 328Raise his Immortal Dao cultivation first

Fang Xu gained an optimized world-travel plugin after the Smiling Proudly World's World Will helped strip it from Li Lei's system, leaving Li Lei trapped in that world. Fang Xu tested the plugin's energy recharge and considered its random destinations, but held off on traveling until he was stronger.

  • The Smiling Proudly World's World Will helped the Exchange Talent remove the world-travel plugin from Li Lei's system, trapping Li Lei and the system in that world.
  • Fang Xu examined the plugin and learned it could randomly travel between worlds, record their coordinates, and recharge by absorbing energy instead of Fortune Points.
  • Fang Xu merged the crystal into his Sea of Consciousness, where the Attribute Panel displayed the plugin's travel costs, capacity, and return requirements.
  • Fang Xu tested recharging the plugin with chakra and Viridian Force, confirming that both energy sources worked.
  • Fang Xu considered the risks of random travel and decided not to activate the plugin yet because he might enter a world too dangerous to escape.

Ch. 329Why did you enter without permission?

Fang Xu arrived at the Hidden Stone Battlefield and knocked Roshi, the Four-Tails' jinchuriki, underground with one punch, shifting the battle and boosting Konoha's morale. He told Shimura Danzō that Hiruzen Sarutobi had sent him, while privately deciding to expose Danzō's crimes after the war.

  • Fang Xu chose to strengthen his Immortal Dao cultivation before attempting a random crossing, then used Flying Thunder God to return to the Hidden Stone Battlefield.
  • Iwagakure's forces, including Roshi and the Five-Tails Jinchuriki, battered Konoha's defenses as Shimura Danzō ordered the clans' jonin to stop them.
  • Fang Xu appeared above Roshi and struck him into a vast crater with Sage Art: Monster Strength Fist, halting the fighting briefly and renewing Konoha's confidence.
  • Danzō challenged Fang Xu for entering without permission, and Fang Xu replied that Hiruzen Sarutobi had sent him after he pacified the Sand Village Battlefield and secured Kirigakure's surrender.
  • Konoha ninja criticized Danzō as Fang Xu's victories and arrival undermined his authority; Fang Xu silently rejected Danzō's orders and planned to reveal evidence of his crimes after the war.

Ch. 330He was hit!

Fang Xu sealed Roshi, escaped Ōnoki’s Dust Release, and struck the Third Tsuchikage with a massive lightning attack. Ōnoki retaliated with an even wider Dust Release, which met Fang Xu’s Dankū barrier as the battle continued.

  • Danzo resented Hiruzen for allowing Fang Xu to grow powerful and vowed to make Fang Xu pay for the Shimura Clan’s losses.
  • Roshi called on the Four-Tails’ power and began a Complete Tailed Beast Transformation, but Fang Xu slammed him into the ground and sealed him inside a Void Sphere.
  • Ōnoki attacked Fang Xu from behind with Dust Release, but Fang Xu escaped with Flying Thunder God and confronted the Third Tsuchikage.
  • Fang Xu summoned a massive lightning pillar that struck Ōnoki and left him burned and badly shaken.
  • Ōnoki launched a wider Dust Release at Fang Xu, who raised the Dankū barrier to block it.

Ch. 331Since You Refuse to Stop, All of You Can Lie Down

Fang Xu defeated Ōnoki, sealed his chakra, and overwhelmed the Iwagakure forces who tried to rescue him. He incapacitated Kitsuchi, Taiseki, Higashi Shibito, and dozens of jonin, then sealed their chakra and healed their severed tendons, leaving the battlefield under his control.

  • Fang Xu blocked Ōnoki's Dust Release with Dankū, then grabbed Ōnoki and slammed him headfirst into the ground, knocking him unconscious.
  • Fang Xu pulled Ōnoki free with psychic power and sealed his chakra pathways and Dust Release bloodline power.
  • Kitsuchi, Taiseki, Higashi Shibito, and dozens of Iwagakure jonin charged to rescue Ōnoki, but Fang Xu's Conqueror's Haki brought many fighters down and slowed the rest.
  • Fang Xu used Sage Art: Earth Release: Pointing to Steel to turn the ground within a thousand meters into steel, disrupting the Iwagakure forces' Earth Release techniques.
  • Fang Xu used Flying Thunder God formulas hidden in the steel ground to move among the Iwagakure higher-ups and sever their tendons, bringing them down.
  • Fang Xu sealed the chakra of the fallen Iwagakure fighters and healed their severed tendons, leaving them alive but unable to move.

Ch. 332Come here.

Fang Xu handed Iwagakure’s captured leaders to Danzo and crushed an underground rescue attempt before it could threaten Konoha. He left Gari alive and transported him to the Spatial Ring World for research into Explosion Release.

  • Fang Xu entrusted Ōnoki, Roshi, Kitsuchi, and Iwagakure’s other captured leaders to Danzo, warning him not to waive war reparations.
  • Danzo sent Root ninja to secure the prisoners and ordered them taken to separate guarded cells.
  • Iwagakure ninja charged Konoha’s position to rescue their leaders while Fang Xu sensed Gari’s Explosion Release unit tunneling underground.
  • Fang Xu extended Turn Earth to Steel, trapping Gari and his unit underground as they prepared to self-destruct.
  • Fang Xu used Inorganic Reincarnation to kill Gari’s subordinates and seal Gari’s Explosion Release chakra.
  • Fang Xu transported the captured Gari into a cell in the Spatial Ring World for research.

Ch. 333You can leave now

Fang Xu broke Iwagakure’s offensive with repeated Railgun attacks, forcing the village to surrender and agree to negotiations. After the battle, he drained half of Five-Tails Kokuō’s chakra into a Void Sphere and left with Minato Namikaze reflecting on the gap between their strength.

  • Fang Xu fired successive Railgun volleys through Iwagakure’s forces and ordered the Konoha ninja to retreat.
  • Minato Namikaze evaded Five-Tails Kokuō’s attacks, causing Tailed Beast Balls to explode among Iwagakure’s troops.
  • Sumashi declared Iwagakure’s surrender, and Fang Xu required negotiations over ransoms and war reparations before the surviving forces withdrew.
  • Fang Xu filled a Void Sphere with half of Kokuō’s chakra and let the Five-Tails leave with the retreating Iwagakure forces.
  • Minato Namikaze thanked Fang Xu, asked about his Team 10 leadership, and admitted that he still struggled with his chakra reserves.

Ch. 334Extraordinary control

Fang Xu explained to Minato Namikaze how he used Earth Release and Ice Release to place Flying Thunder God coordinates remotely, prompting Minato to rethink his reliance on kunai. He then extracted half of the Four-Tails’ chakra from Roshi and gave it to Jiraiya as spoils from the Hidden Stone Battlefield.

  • Minato Namikaze asked Fang Xu how he had placed Flying Thunder God coordinates without touching targets or throwing kunai, while Shimura Danzō heard nearby ninjas praise Fang Xu’s chakra reserves.
  • Fang Xu revealed that he had hidden Flying Thunder God formulas in the steel ground with Earth Release chakra and could also form the runes within ice.
  • Minato Namikaze tried inscribing a formula into the ground, failed, and decided to practice placing coordinates on objects he could touch before attempting remote inscriptions.
  • Fang Xu extracted half of the Four-Tails’ chakra from the unconscious Roshi into a spatial sphere and gave it to Jiraiya as part of the Hidden Stone Battlefield spoils.

Ch. 335Instantly entering Sage Mode

After Konoha defeated Iwagakure, Fang Xu ordered Jiraiya to secure full reparations and compensation, arguing that peace required power rather than concessions. He then revealed that he had perfected Sage Mode to conceal its markings and enter it instantly, leaving Jiraiya stunned.

  • Fang Xu ordered Jiraiya to demand full war reparations and separate ransoms from Iwagakure, warning him against making concessions.
  • Fang Xu argued to Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze that lasting peace required unification or overwhelming military power, not compromise.
  • Jiraiya wondered whether Fang Xu was the Child of Destiny from the Great Toad Sage's prophecy and joked about making him a student.
  • Fang Xu told Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze that he had learned senjutsu through a Summoning Contract with the Slug Sage of Shikkotsu Forest.
  • Fang Xu demonstrated that he could hide his sage markings without losing natural energy and enter Sage Mode instantly through a stable chakra cycle.

Ch. 336Why bring that up all of a sudden?

Fang Xu refused Jiraiya’s request for Senjutsu training notes, explaining that his own method had come easily and would not translate to Mount Myoboku’s system. He left the aftermath of Iwagakure’s surrender to Jiraiya and Minato, while Jiraiya worried that Tsunade might master Senjutsu and surpass him.

  • Jiraiya asked Fang Xu to lend him his Senjutsu training notes in exchange for a special insect feast, but Fang Xu refused.
  • Fang Xu said he had learned to sense natural energy and circulate Senjutsu chakra in half a day, leaving Jiraiya dejected.
  • Jiraiya warned that Tsunade’s earlier failure and depleted vitality made Shikkotsu Forest Senjutsu dangerous, but Fang Xu said her condition had changed and she would show the results soon.
  • Fang Xu told Jiraiya and Minato that Iwagakure had surrendered and left them to handle negotiations, prisoners, and battlefield cleanup before teleporting away.
  • Minato said Fang Xu’s confidence suggested Tsunade could succeed, and Jiraiya urged Minato to train in Senjutsu now that the war was over.

Ch. 337Nothing to do with Konoha

Jiraiya urged Minato Namikaze to learn Mount Myoboku Senjutsu, and Minato agreed to visit after the negotiations with Iwagakure. Meanwhile, Fang Xu infiltrated Kumogakure territory and sealed Yugito Nii and Matatabi, demanding a portion of the Two-Tails' chakra for his research.

  • Jiraiya told Minato Namikaze that he should learn Mount Myoboku Senjutsu, and Minato agreed to visit once the negotiations with Iwagakure were finished.
  • Fang Xu used Flying Thunder God to enter the Land of Lightning and tracked Yugito Nii after she left Kumogakure with three Hidden Cloud ninja.
  • Fang Xu sealed Yugito's chakra and suppressed Matatabi, then used hypnosis to incapacitate the three Hidden Cloud ninja accompanying her.
  • Yugito recognized Fang Xu and challenged him for attacking her despite the ceasefire between Konoha and the Hidden Cloud.
  • Fang Xu said he wanted a portion of the Two-Tails' chakra for research and offered to release Yugito, Matatabi, and her companions if they cooperated.
  • Matatabi confirmed that neither she nor Yugito was injured, but recognized that Fang Xu's sealing power overwhelmed them.

Ch. 338The deal was done

Fang Xu took nearly half of Matatabi’s chakra from Yugito, then left the Land of Lightning and found Chōmei sleeping beneath the mountains near Takigakure. He sealed Chōmei’s chakra and movement, leaving the tailed beast trapped and demanding answers.

  • Matatabi urged Yugito to accept Fang Xu’s terms, and Yugito agreed to give him half of her chakra in exchange for releasing their seals and waking her companions.
  • Matatabi poured her chakra into Fang Xu’s Void Sphere until it was full, leaving her and Yugito weakened.
  • Fang Xu took the sphere, removed the seals, and woke Yugito’s three Cloud ninja companions before silently leaving the forest.
  • Fang Xu traveled to the mountains around Takigakure, sensed Chōmei sleeping in an underground cavern, and appeared on its head.
  • Chōmei woke and attacked, but Fang Xu stomped down and sealed its chakra and movement.

Ch. 339The Star Was Gone!

Fang Xu extracted half of Chōmei’s chakra, then stole Hoshigakure’s Star after realizing it was a fragment of Ten-Tails’ body. He brought the fragment to his Spatial Ring World and began repairing it with tailed beast chakra, but two gaps remained.

  • Fang Xu extracted half of Chōmei’s chakra and left Barren Mountain, while Chōmei chose not to pursue him.
  • Fang Xu went to the Land of Bears and stole the Star from Hoshigakure’s training ground.
  • Fang Xu confirmed that the Star was a fragment of Ten-Tails’ body and discovered that its radiation powered the Mysterious Peacock Method while damaging practitioners’ bodies.
  • Akahoshi and the Star Ninja searched Barren Mountain but failed to find Fang Xu or recover the Star.
  • Fang Xu tested the fragment’s essence, decided his body was not yet ready to absorb it, and infused it with collected tailed beast chakra.
  • The fragment began to repair itself, but its yin-yang and water-nature gaps remained.

Ch. 340It was about interests

Fang Xu sought Tsunade’s help to obtain Nine-Tails chakra, but an urgent summons brought him to Hiruzen Sarutobi to report on the surrendered villages and their prisoners. Fang Xu argued that Konoha should demand heavy reparations because conflicts of interest, not resentment over payments, drove war, and the chapter left Hiruzen struggling to answer him.

  • Fang Xu decided to ask Tsunade to mediate before seeking Nine-Tails chakra from Kushina, since the Three-Tails was dead and approaching Kushina directly could be dangerous.
  • Fang Xu received the memories of his shadow clone, then met an Anbu ninja who summoned him to the Hokage Office.
  • Fang Xu told Hiruzen Sarutobi that Kirigakure had surrendered, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were dead, and the Six-Tails was in Konoha’s hands.
  • Fang Xu reported that Ōnoki, Roshi, and numerous Iwagakure ninja had been captured, while Jiraiya and Minato handled negotiations.
  • Fang Xu insisted that the defeated villages pay enough reparations to cover Konoha’s losses and rebuild its strength.
  • Fang Xu argued that wars stemmed from competing interests, not reparations, and challenged Hiruzen’s belief that lenient terms would prevent future conflict.

Ch. 341Not even on the same level

Fang Xu persuaded Hiruzen Sarutobi to demand full war reparations from Kirigakure and Iwagakure, then visited Tsunade and Nazi as they practiced Senjutsu in Shikkotsu Forest. After Nazi identified the limits of traditional Senjutsu, Fang Xu demonstrated his stable senjutsu chakra and began explaining how he planned to improve the practice.

  • Fang Xu argued that lasting peace required either unifying the Shinobi World or overwhelming military power, and Hiruzen Sarutobi agreed to seek full reparations and record Fang Xu's military achievements.
  • Fang Xu left the Hokage Building and used Flying Thunder God to reach Shikkotsu Forest, where the Slug Sage directed him to Tsunade and Nazi.
  • Fang Xu examined the pool of natural-energy-absorbing liquid and learned from a little Katsuyu that it was meant to help with Senjutsu practice.
  • Tsunade and Nazi stopped practicing and described how difficult it was to balance natural energy with physical and mental energy.
  • Nazi called traditional Senjutsu an incomplete, temporary power boost, and Fang Xu agreed that he had been working on an improved version.
  • Fang Xu formed stable senjutsu chakra in his palm and explained that traditional Senjutsu depended on maintaining a temporary balance that could fail and cancel Sage Mode.

Ch. 342Came quickly, left even faster

Fang Xu explained his improved senjutsu to Tsunade and Nazi, but said they could not practice it until he finished adjusting how natural energy interacted with the body and chakra system. He obtained Tsunade’s introduction to Kushina so he could request Nine-Tails chakra, then left Shikkotsu Forest.

  • Fang Xu described a senjutsu that would permanently integrate natural energy into the body, while warning that its cultivation method was not yet safe to practice.
  • Nazi chose to continue training, and Tsunade reluctantly returned to the natural-energy pool despite the risk of Katsuyuification.
  • Tsunade asked why Fang Xu had come and learned that he needed Nine-Tails chakra for his research into chakra’s nature.
  • Tsunade offered Fang Xu a letter of introduction to Kushina and advised him to speak with Minato first, while warning him not to extract chakra forcibly or let Konoha’s leadership learn of it.
  • Fang Xu accepted Tsunade’s conditions, took her letter, and used Space Power to leave Shikkotsu Forest.

Ch. 343Changes

Nazi deduced that the Third Shinobi World War had ended and encouraged Tsunade to master senjutsu so they could visit the Pokémon World. Fang Xu exchanged several techniques for an enhanced Six Treasury Immortal Thief, mastered it, and began refining food into qi in the Spatial Ring World.

  • Nazi told Tsunade that Fang Xu had likely dealt with all three battlefronts and collected chakra from every tailed beast except the Nine-Tails.
  • Tsunade resolved to learn Shikkotsu Forest Senjutsu before going to the Pokémon World, and Nazi told her about the Game Corner in Celadon City.
  • Fang Xu exchanged a Lightning Body-Tempering Technique scroll, a Six Powers manual, the Chakra Refinement Technique, and chakra for an enhanced Six Treasury Immortal Thief.
  • Ruan Feng received the four items on Kangchenjunga, reconsidered devouring his prey, and chose to pursue a new path of cultivation.
  • Fang Xu absorbed the enhanced technique and inherited Ruan Feng's cultivation experience, then rapidly ate stored food as Six Treasury Immortal Thief converted its useful energy into nourishment and qi.
  • Fang Xu formed his first wisp of qi and studied how the Six Bowels Cycle transformed food into essence and then qi.

Ch. 344Incomplete

Fang Xu reversed the Six Treasury Immortal Thief’s Qi conversion to replenish his body, then combined it with his other abilities to create the Human Immortal Martial Way. He left the chapter planning to develop a complete Spirit Refining method and seeking further cultivation inheritances.

  • Fang Xu discovered that cultivating the Azure Essence Sword Art drained energy from his cells, and he used the Six Treasury Immortal Thief to study how his body processed nutrients.
  • After five days of experiments, Fang Xu learned to convert Qi into vital energy that restored his cells, then refined the process until it stabilized.
  • Fang Xu combined the Qi-to-essence cycle with Life Return, Armament Haki, and lightning body tempering, creating the Human Immortal Martial Way.
  • Fang Xu concluded that his new method covered essence refining but still needed a complete Spirit Refining technique to unite essence, Qi, and spirit.
  • Fang Xu considered obtaining more inheritances from The Outcast, but found that his Random Transmigration Plugin could not lock onto worlds he had only visited through Exchange.

Ch. 345Infiltrating the ranks

Fang Xu reviewed bloodline-limit samples collected by Wood Clone Number One and sent a new clone to infiltrate Kirigakure and gather more. He then met Kakuzu outside Konoha, where Kakuzu reported that he had successfully joined the Akatsuki.

  • Wood Clone Number One complained about Fang Xu's workload and asked to be dispelled, but accepted the Kirigakure mission after Fang Xu explained its value.
  • After Number One dispersed, Fang Xu recovered fourteen Uchiha, nine Yuki Clan, and nineteen Kaguya bloodline-limit samples from the Spatial Bracelet.
  • Fang Xu created Wood Clone Number Two, gave him supplies, and sent him to infiltrate Kirigakure and collect materials from the Yuki Clan and Kaguya.
  • Fang Xu received Kakuzu's agreed communication signal and used Flying Thunder God to meet him in a secluded grove.
  • Kakuzu reported to Fang Xu that he had successfully joined the Akatsuki, wearing its black robe with red clouds.

Ch. 346He Was Too Old

Fang Xu explained the Akatsuki’s hidden hierarchy and Madara Uchiha’s resurrection plan to Kakuzu, revealing that he had already killed Madara. Kakuzu asked whether his mission inside the Akatsuki was to sabotage that plan.

  • Kakuzu reported that the Six Paths of Pain were corpses controlled remotely by the hidden Nagato Uzumaki.
  • Fang Xu revealed that Nagato’s Rinnegan belonged to Madara Uchiha, who had survived his battle with Hashirama Senju and awakened the eyes by combining Indra and Asura’s chakra.
  • Fang Xu explained that Madara had implanted his Rinnegan in Nagato, intending to use Rinne Rebirth to resurrect himself, while Uchiha En and Black Zetsu carried out his plans.
  • Fang Xu told Kakuzu that he had killed Madara, though Madara could still return as long as Nagato possessed the Rinnegan.
  • Kakuzu asked whether Fang Xu had sent him into the Akatsuki to sabotage Madara’s resurrection plan.

Ch. 347That Was Hard to Believe

Fang Xu dismissed Kakuzu’s concerns about Madara Uchiha and analyzed the Akatsuki’s communication ring, then used its formula to connect their bracelets. After giving Kurenai a month off, he teleported with her to Shikkotsu Forest, where the Slug Sage noticed Kurenai’s unusual compatibility with natural energy.

  • Fang Xu told Kakuzu that Madara Uchiha’s resurrection would not threaten him and accepted Kakuzu’s secret-technique scrolls while returning the Akatsuki ring.
  • Fang Xu deciphered the ring’s communication formula and reproduced it in Kakuzu’s Spatial Bracelet and his own Electricity Storage Space bracelet.
  • Fang Xu instructed Kakuzu to remain undercover and report Akatsuki developments through their new communication link.
  • Kurenai confronted Fang Xu about sending a Wood Clone on missions, and he reassured her that Flying Thunder God Formulas would let him intervene if needed.
  • Fang Xu granted Kurenai, Shizune, and Yugao a month off, then teleported with Kurenai to Shikkotsu Forest to visit the Slug Sage.
  • The Slug Sage observed Kurenai and detected her abundant vitality and unusual compatibility with natural energy.

Ch. 348Continuous growth

Fang Xu brought Kurenai to Shikkotsu Forest to train in Senjutsu, outfitted her, Tsunade, and Nazi with long-distance communication runes, and revealed the Six Treasury Immortal Thief’s potential to increase Chakra reserves. The chapter ended with Tsunade recognizing that the ability could free Chakra capacity from the limits of constitution and bloodline.

  • Fang Xu introduced Kurenai to the Slug Sage, who welcomed her as a promising Senjutsu trainee.
  • Fang Xu brought Kurenai to the stone forest, where Tsunade and Nazi demonstrated their developing Sage Mode abilities.
  • Tsunade assessed Kurenai’s life force and instructed her to sense Natural Energy without absorbing it too quickly.
  • Fang Xu engraved long-distance communication runes into the Spatial Bracelets of Kurenai, Tsunade, and Nazi, and they tested the connection.
  • Fang Xu refused to give the communication technology to Konoha while Hiruzen Sarutobi was Hokage, citing the risk of it reaching the Hokage and Advisory Council.
  • Fang Xu explained that Six Treasury Immortal Thief could turn food into vital essence, Qi, and Blood and Qi Power, helping replenish the body and generate Chakra; Tsunade realized it could let Chakra reserves grow beyond constitutional and bloodline limits.

Ch. 349Plans for the future

Fang Xu taught Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Six Treasury Immortal Thief, then returned to Konoha and visited Hatake Sakumo. When Sakumo asked about his future, Fang Xu said he planned to travel and research while having a Shadow Clone lead Team 10, but Sakumo objected.

  • Fang Xu taught Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai Six Treasury Immortal Thief, and all three formed Qi and began converting it into Essence.
  • Tsunade realized the new Chakra could nourish her body and be stored in her Yin Seal without draining her cells, while Kurenai thanked Fang Xu for the technique.
  • Fang Xu returned to Konoha, sensed Minato Namikaze in the Hokage Tower, and went to visit Hatake Sakumo while Kakashi was away on a mission.
  • Fang Xu accepted Sakumo's invitation to dinner and told him he planned to focus on cultivation and research, with occasional travel.
  • Fang Xu said a Shadow Clone could lead Team 10 while he traveled, but Hatake Sakumo argued that training Genin required more than combat and could not be left entirely to a clone.

Ch. 350You're very strong now

Fang Xu explained why ordinary Shadow Clones could not safely lead his students on dangerous missions, then revealed that he could use Wood Release and grant it to others. Hatake Sakumo was stunned to learn how many people possessed the power, and Fang Xu offered to give it to him and Kakashi after consulting Tsunade.

  • Hatake Sakumo warned Fang Xu that Shadow Clones could be dispelled before his original body could support his students during dangerous missions.
  • Fang Xu demonstrated Wood Release by growing a lifelike finger from his palm, shocking Hatake Sakumo.
  • Fang Xu said he was descended from a Senju branch family and had awakened Wood Release over a year earlier.
  • Fang Xu revealed that Tsunade, Kurenai, and Nazi also had Sage Bodies and Wood Release because he had granted them those abilities.
  • Fang Xu offered to grant the bloodlines to Hatake Sakumo and Kakashi after asking Tsunade's opinion.
