Fang Xu used his Exchange Talent to gain Enel’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit powers, then trained to combine them with chakra while building ties in Konoha. After a spar with Kakashi, Hatake Sakumo took Fang Xu as his Kendo disciple, and Kakashi challenged him to a rematch.
Fang Xu trained under Hatake Sakumo, gained new abilities through his exchange talent, and drew the attention of Danzo and Hiruzen Sarutobi. The stretch ended with Fang Xu visiting Tsunade at the Ninja Hospital to ask about improving his chakra control.
Fang Xu began studying medical ninjutsu under Tsunade while helping Hatake Sakumo turn public opinion against Danzo and Root. Danzo lost his advisor position and Root faced demands to return clan children, while Fang Xu captured a Boar Ninja Beast through an exchange and continued his hospital training as Tsunade prepared to leave Konoha.
Fang Xu gained a Beast Taming Space, raised Pichu, expanded his medical training, and used exchanges to acquire a Spatial Ring and magical knowledge. After selling Spatial Bracelets to Hatake Sakumo and investing in chakra metal and medicinal plants, he left Sunagakure's leaders debating war with Konoha amid their crisis over the missing Third Kazekage.
As the great villages prepared for war, Fang Xu graduated early and teamed up with Kakashi under Shinku Yuhi, then built combat experience through missions and training. After five months of intensifying conflict, the Third Hokage barred their clones from routine work and summoned Fang Xu and Kakashi for frontline assignments.
Fang Xu destroyed a Sand ambush, then survived Danzo’s assassination attempt and the bounty hunters drawn by the leaked report. After reaching Hatake Sakumo’s Eastern Front camp, Fang Xu received the Flying Thunder God scroll and began seeking the sealing manuals needed to master it.
Fang Xu studied sealing and fought on the Eastern and Hidden Cloud fronts while Minato held off A and Killer B. During a brief exchange in another world, Fang Xu gained powerful Haki, swordsmanship, and Devil Fruit abilities, then left the arc facing the Third Raikage alone.
Fang Xu defeated the Third Raikage, secured a ceasefire and reparations, and was recalled to Konoha as his power drew the attention of Madara and Danzo. After defeating a Madara-controlled White Zetsu and escaping Kakuzu’s bounty hunters by recruiting Kakuzu into a business venture, Fang Xu returned to Konoha and asked Hiruzen to let him rest.
Fang Xu traded the Railgun method for Konoha techniques and land, expanded his power, and built a new home while organizing Root and the Land of Waves businesses. He then traveled to Nazi’s world, secured Arceus’s help with cross-world travel, and left recognized as an honored guest in the Pokémon World.
Fang Xu brought Nazi from the Pokémon World to Konoha, where he helped her and Tsunade and Kurenai gain Hashirama’s powers while building a Pokémon network across worlds. As he moved against Danzo and negotiated with Orochimaru, events in the Soul Reaper world escalated around Aizen and Yhwach.
Fang Xu defeated Madara Uchiha in battle, then returned to Konoha and accepted leadership of a new genin team. He traveled to Shikkotsu Forest, where the Slug Sage agreed to teach him senjutsu.
Fang Xu developed a way to refine natural energy into true essence mana, then took charge of Team 10 while navigating Konoha’s leadership tensions and preparing against Akatsuki. Cross-world exchanges brought him new healing and gravity-training technology, and the arc ended with him testing the Gravity Training Room on Tsunade, Nazi, and Kurenai.
Fang Xu ended Sunagakure’s campaign, expanded his research and training projects, and defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist while rescuing Might Duy’s team. After preparing Tsunade and Nazi for senjutsu training, he struck the Hidden Mist front, where Kaguya refused to surrender despite Kirigakure’s defeat.
Fang Xu forced Kirigakure and Iwagakure to surrender, gathered tailed beast chakra, and developed new cultivation methods while making plans for future research. He brought Kurenai and Tsunade into his training, uncovered more of Madara's scheme through Kakuzu, and ended by offering Wood Release to Hatake Sakumo and Kakashi.
Fang Xu helped Tsunade secure the Fourth Hokage position and transfer power from Hiruzen Sarutobi’s faction, while also giving Kushina a safer seal that let her share Kurama’s chakra. The arc ended with Tsunade reorganizing Konoha’s administration and proposing term limits and elections.
