Background / History

Heize was born in a Great Feng border village to a blacksmith father. During a Wolf Tribe raid when he was one, his mother chose death rather than capture. Learning the reason for her death shaped his lifelong hatred of the Wolf Tribe and his determination to protect Great Feng. At four, he displayed a natural connection to the spear and was adopted by a retired military officer. 1 56

He trained obsessively from childhood, often practicing through exhaustion and refusing distractions. At eleven, his adoptive father sent him to Kyoto with a recommendation letter for Gun King Liu Xiu. As a teenager, Heize travelled widely, killed the Twelve Great Bandits of Tianmen Mountain, and waged guerrilla attacks across the Wolf Tribe's borderlands.
