The City Lord's Manor.
Hawkins was playing mahjong with his parents when he suddenly frowned. A sense of foreboding stirred in him. He excused himself and went straight back to his study.
He sat at his desk, leaning against the chair back. One hand propped up his cheek while the fingers of the other tapped lightly on the desktop. My Mind Sense is warning me that something has gone wrong with a plan. Which plan, and which part of it?
His Sage's Mind Sense was now at its maximum level. Even without any outward sign, he could detect certain hidden things quietly unfolding.
Infinite City had grown to such a scale that countless things happened every second. People betrayed others, stole secrets, committed theft, and had affairs.
Hawkins had long since placed countless pieces across Infinite City, with countless plans unfolding at the same time.
Opening the Sea of Heroes front was only one of those plans. Others had existed well before it, and quite a few had been underway for more than five hundred years, gradually nearing fruition.
The Time Escape Plan, the Timeline Development Plan, the Faith Propagation Plan...
So many plans were underway that Hawkins could not immediately tell which one had gone wrong and triggered his Mind Sense.
He opened his notebook and checked the plans one by one, searching for the one behind the warning.
Suddenly, his finger stopped on the plan to cultivate Martin...
This was not a warning from his sixth sense. It was the effect of another skill: Foresight.
Many people in Infinite City speculated about his strength, but his level had not risen nearly as high as they imagined. It was not even as high as Mark's.
His stats were quite ordinary, too. He simply had two extra skills.
