• Huo Lei and Huo Feng rescued Jin Shan, who became Huo Lei’s master after learning he had Twin Martial Souls.
• Huo Lei and Jin Shan traveled to Sunset Forest, where Huo Lei gained a golden External Soul Bone and recruited Lin Yin as Jin Shan’s subordinate.

Huo Lei helps Blazing Fire Academy prepare for and enter the Soul Master Elite Tournament, then leads the team to a major victory over Shrek Academy. As the preliminary round nears its end, Blazing Fire Academy remains undefeated and prepares to face Cullen Academy.

• Huo Lei confronted Huo Zheng over taking his cultivation spot, and Huo Feng resolved their dispute after Huo Lei secured thirty thousand Gold Soul Coins as an apology.
• Huo Lei reached level fifty-two, while Tang San gave the Shrek Seven Monsters refined pills that helped them cultivate but risked making future breakthroughs harder.
• Huo Feng selected Blazing Fire Academy’s tournament representatives, and Huo Lei traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest with Jin Shan and Lin Yin to add a Soul Ring to his second Martial Soul.

Blazing Fire Academy navigated the Promotion Round as Huo Lei accepted Emperor Xue Ye’s backing and defeated all seven Shrek Academy contestants in their match. Shrek later fought its way through other opponents, and the arc ended with Dai Mubai facing Yu Tianxin in an escalating showdown.

• Blazing Fire Academy and Shrek Academy drew their final-round match, which ended in a draw after Shui Bing’er and Xue Wu’s Ice and Snow Fluttering overwhelmed the arena and Tang San stood alone.
• Emperor Xue Ye secretly won Huo Lei’s allegiance with promises of status, protection, resources, and the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, while Huo Lei also received Soul Bones and arranged for An Jun to guard him.
• Huo Lei shared Soul Bones with his family, helping Huo Wu advance, before Blazing Fire Academy traveled to the Royal Hunting Grounds for the Promotion Round.
• Huo Wushuang and Huo Wu secured Blazing Fire Academy’s opening victory, and Huo Lei later defeated all seven Shrek Academy contestants, including Tang San and Xiao Wu.

Huo Lei led Blazing Fire Academy to victory over Spirit Hall Academy and won three Soul Bones. After the team returned home, he absorbed the Wisdom Skull and discovered the attackers who ambushed them were Spirit Hall Red-Clothed Cardinals.

• Dai Mubai conceded his match against Yu Tianxin, and Shrek Academy defeated Thunderclap Academy before the Promotion Round ended with Blazing Fire Academy drawing against Skywater Academy.
• Tang San defeated Feng Xiaotian, and Huo Lei later helped Blazing Fire Academy reach the Grand Finals after its opponents surrendered or fell to the team’s tactics.
• Bibi Dong revealed Xiao Wu as a transformed soul beast, but Tang Hao defeated Spirit Hall’s Titled Douluo and escaped with Tang San and Xiao Wu.
• Huo Lei led Blazing Fire Academy to defeat Spirit Hall Academy in the final, earning the championship and three Soul Bones.
