Grade System

The grade system was established when Ma Hongjun's first assessment displayed White, Purple, and Black Trait Entries 1.

Detection Process

• A normal assessment requires an input valued at ten Gold Soul Coins and physical contact with the Detection Platform or its crystal-ball interface 1 25.
• The mechanism reveals nine major Trait Entries for each subject. They may cover Martial Soul, innate Soul Power, aptitude, potential, personality, vitality, background, and other qualities 25.
• The platform publicly displays the detected entries, their grades, and the subject's three highest results 1 9.
• Immortal Mountain's apprenticeship threshold is three or more Top-tier Red Trait Entries among the nine results 1 25.
• Possessing numerous Black entries is insufficient: applicants with even nine Black-grade entries remain unqualified 60.

Evaluation Principles

Trait Entries are not limited to combat talent. They can identify:

• Martial Souls and cultivation potential, such as the Evil-Eyed White Tiger, Seven Treasure Glazed Pagoda, or Nine-Heart Begonia 2 9 68.
• Innate Soul Power and physical qualities, including Level Eight or Level Nine Innate Soul Power, speed, and vitality 9 68.
• Temperament and conduct, including diligence, cowardice, moral character, pride, and personal flaws 9 12 38.
• Lineage, appearance, background, and social circumstances, such as Top-tier Background, Top-tier Beauty, or Sole Heir 2 68.
• A subject's central evaluation, often represented by the ninth entry; this is described as particularly difficult to obtain at a high grade 27.

A Trait Entry's value can depend on compatibility. Dugu Yan's Unconventional Beauty, Poisonous Little Hole alternated between White and Red: precious to poison users, but dangerous or worthless to those unable to withstand poison 61.

Evolution and Change

Trait Entries are not permanent verdicts. Su Chen explains that they summarize a Soul Master's temporary state, and may change as the person develops 13.

Known means of change include:

• Cultivation and hardship — Zhu Zhuqing improved her agility potential and diligence through dangerous speed training 13 27.
• Compatible Spirit Rings and Martial Soul evolution — Ning Rongrong's Mysterious Yellow Exquisite Tower awakened the Supreme-Grade Ultimate Martial Soul Trait Entry 20.
• Repeated paid detection and extreme spending — Ning Rongrong forced the evolution of her wealth-related Trait Entry through massive expenditure 2.
• Combat breakthroughs — Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing each evolved a Supreme-Grade combat Trait Entry after defeating the Imperial Fighting Team 52.

Temporary external enhancement does not alter the result. Ning Rongrong's speed buff did not affect Zhu Zhuqing's assessment because the system evaluates the subject's own innate conditions 27.

Repeated testing also carries risk: Zhu Zhuqing later announces that repeated assessments have caused some visitors' Trait Entries to worsen rather than improve 37.

Apprenticeship Function

A candidate who activates at least three Red Trait Entries may ascend Immortal Mountain and seek discipleship 25 68.

Trait Entries directly affect Su Chen's system rewards:

• Accepting a disciple with three Supreme-Grade entries grants Su Chen nine levels of Soul Power and a Super Nine-Choose-Three Draw Chance 3.
• Each additional Top-tier Red Trait Entry gained by a disciple grants another Super Nine-Choose-Three Draw Chance 3.
• A disciple's Supreme-Grade Trait Entry evolution can trigger God-Level rewards; Ning Rongrong's Ultimate Martial Soul evolution granted Su Chen a God-Level selection opportunity 20.
• The evolutions of Supreme Support and Supreme Agility Attack Soul Master each awarded Su Chen a God-Level draw and increased his Soul Power by 50% 52.
