Ordinary prodigies needed one or two thousand years to attain the Dao. Even those of dazzling talent could not break the five-hundred-year curse. It was an absolute barrier.
Lin Xian and Ye Fan, however, were excluded from that discussion. They were regarded as a reincarnated Heavenly Emperor and a reborn Heavenly Venerable, which explained how they could advance by leaps and bounds in a mere hundred years and become Supreme Beings.

"But some say Holy Master Lin is a being from the Chaotic Ancient Era," another person asked doubtfully. That information came from Zhang Bainin. A group led by him revered the Heavenly Court of the Chaotic Ancient Era and honored the Desolate Pagoda above all.
The Chaotic Ancient Heavenly Court, the Mythical Heavenly Court, and the Primordial Ancient Heavenly Court were the three great branches of the Heavenly Court.
"Isn't that simple? The Netherworld Emperor was the Tribulation Transcending Heavenly Venerable in his previous life. And who was the Tribulation Transcending Heavenly Venerable before that? Legend has it that he, too, was an old monster reborn from the Chaotic Ancient Era."
