Background / History
During the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s annual Martial Soul Awakening Ceremony, Yu Yuanzhen observes the new generation alongside Yu Luomian. He considers the children promising, but is especially concerned with the talent of a child connected to someone important to him; recalling the matter causes his mood to darken. After Long Fei’s awakening, Yu Yuanzhen judges his innate talent as impressive but still inferior to an unnamed “her.” 1
After Long Fei reaches Level 10, Yu Yuanzhen visits him outside his quarters. He tells Long Fei to address him as “Grandfather” because of Yu Kexin’s seniority within the clan, then reveals that Long Fei’s parents are alive and are extraordinary Soul Master geniuses. He entrusts Long Fei with the black storage ring left by Long Aotian and Yu Kexin and promises to personally help him acquire his first Soul Ring. 2
Personality
Yu Yuanzhen is proud of exceptional talent, particularly the potential represented by Yu Kexin, Long Aotian, and Long Fei. He speaks excitedly of Long Fei’s parents’ achievements and of the combat strength they could bring to the clan. 2
