Background

Long Aotian is the father of Long Fei and husband of Yu Kexin, one of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s greatest geniuses. His martial soul is the Dark Sacred Dragon, a top-tier beast martial soul. By age twenty, he had become a Soul Sage; by age twenty-five, he had reached Rank 89 Soul Douluo. Yu Yuanzhen regarded him as a once-in-an-era talent who should have reached at least Level 94 by the present day. 2

At the time of Long Fei’s martial-soul awakening, Aotian and Yu Kexin were trapped in an enclosed trial space. They completed the Evil/Goodness Fifth Trial, but could not leave until reaching Level 99. 1

Aotian and Kexin prepared an inheritance for their son before their separation. Through a spiritual message stored in a black storage ring, Aotian explained the Dragon Transformation Art, warned Long Fei to conceal the Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum, and revealed that three sealed reserves of energy had been placed inside Long Fei’s body for emergencies. 2 3
