Background / History

Futu Yun was born an orphan on the Futu Continent. His father had died before his birth, while his mother died in childbirth, and his family was not considered part of the Pagoda Ancient Clan’s main line. He originally possessed neither Spiritual Veins nor Divine Veins. 3

After transmigrating into the world of The Great Ruler, Futu Yun resonated with the Pagoda Ancient Clan’s Primordial Dharma Body, the Endless Light Body. He entered the body and slept there for more than a decade, after which the clan named him Futu Yun and appointed him young clan leader. 2 3

Futu Yun possessed knowledge of the original storyline and deliberately entered the Spirit Road to seize opportunities that originally belonged to Mu Chen. He defeated Mu Chen, took his Nine Divine Veins, and absorbed the Eight Divine Veins that Qing Yanjing had used to conceal her son’s bloodline. He then refined those Eight Divine Veins into a seal capable of suppressing Qing Yanjing’s cultivation. 3

His rise rapidly changed the balance within the Pagoda Ancient Clan. He used Qing Yanjing’s dependence on Mu Chen’s safety to force her cooperation, publicly made her his spiritual-array teacher, and used her return to strengthen the declining Qing Lineage against the Xuan and Mo Branches. 5

At the Northern Heavens Spiritual Academy, Futu Yun concealed his identity under the name Ye Yun. He seized first place on the Spirit Ranking, suppressed Fusion Heaven Realm experts while still at the Peak Divine Soul Stage, and formed a relationship with Luo Li. 16 19

Futu Yun later became a Plane Master by refining the Plane Spirit of the White Dragon Continent. He then developed an expedition system that drained Lower Planes, merged them into the Great Thousand World, recruited their surviving experts, and used their resources to strengthen both himself and the Pagoda Ancient Clan. 35 37 43

During the Black Divine Lightning Tribulation, he moved the tribulation into Extraterrestrial Evil Clan territory and used it to destroy the Blade Demon Clan and kill the Heaven-Slaying Demon Emperor. This earned him the title of Demon-Slaying King and the reputation of the Great Thousand World’s “First Killing God.” 49 51 70

Futu Yun later inherited the Ancient Heavenly Palace from the Heavenly Emperor. He received the Heavenly Emperor Sword, the Heavenly Emperor’s Dharmakaya origin, the Heavenly River, the Scripture Repository, and the Peerless Divine Ability One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones. 70
