The Celestial Awakens

With a splat, this world's Iron Man fell two thousand meters without his armor and ended up a heap of mangled flesh.

Female Vision returned to the group of five, looking thoroughly satisfied.

Meanwhile, the spaceships overhead were being destroyed one after another.

Silver robots began returning to the ground.

But that did nothing to reassure Iron Man. He took two involuntary steps back as he looked at Female Vision.

He had never imagined she could absorb so much. She had even absorbed the armor.

She was his perfect counter.

He had no idea how the version of himself in Female Vision's universe put up with her appetite.

"Get ready," Male Ancient One said gravely. "The big one's coming."

As he spoke, an enormous black shape appeared among the stars, blotting out part of the sky.

It grew larger and larger until it covered the entire sky.

The creature was humanoid and more than a dozen times larger than Blue Star. By the sunlight that still reached past the planet, they could make out its form.

Whatever its strength, its sheer size alone left everyone shaken.

Gulp.

Black Spider-Man swallowed hard, then said with a mix of excitement and awe, "How long would it take to eat something that big?"

No sooner had he spoken than the suit on his shoulder rippled, and a black, monstrous head emerged.

"Yes! That could keep us fed for ages! Hahaha!"

The black suit was an alien symbiote, like the one best known as Venom.

This symbiote, however, was called Grendel.

Grendel had originally been a symbiote bonded to a dragon. The Dark Kingdom had created him to extinguish every light in the universe—that was, every Fixed Star.

Unfortunately for Grendel, he came to Blue Star and, like in all the movies, was defeated
