The Villains Arrive

Outside Blue Star.

A silver-white figure, his body gleaming like mercury, stood before Galactus.

It was the Silver Surfer.

He stood on his Surfboard, staring coldly at Blue Star in the distance.

Ever since he had accepted Galactus's power and become the Silver Surfer, he had lost his emotions and conscience. He had no use for something as unnecessary as mercy.

But for some reason, Blue Star reminded him of his homeworld. Looking at it, he found himself reluctant to act.

He soon suppressed that feeling and pointed ahead.

Seeing his servant's signal, Galactus prepared to open his enormous mouth.

Just then, a Portal appeared above Galactus's head, and five figures stepped out.

They were Male Ancient One, Iron Man, Black Spider-Man, Female Vision, and Lady Loki.

As soon as Black Spider-Man landed on Galactus's head, his black Symbiote Suit seemed to melt. It turned to liquid and clung to Galactus.

He was trying to eat Galactus.

But Galactus was not an organic life-form. He could barely even be called a living being.

Black Spider-Man's effort was not entirely wasted, but the digestion was painfully slow.

Iron Man immediately deployed nanobots to corrode Galactus's head. Before long, the bots had produced more and more of themselves.

Female Vision did much the same. She held out both hands and continuously absorbed flakes from Galactus's scalp.

The Celestials had handpicked all five of them as formidable fighters suited to taking on Galactus.

Male Ancient One kept casting spells, layering enchantments over the others.

Only Lady Loki watched the Silver Surfer in the distance with keen interest.

Galactus and the Silver Surfer soon noticed their attacks.

Forgetting Blue Star for the moment, they struck back.

Galactus opened his mouth, unleashing a tremendous suction.
