Reassembling the Stones

Thanos hovered silently above S.H.I.E.L.D., his arms folded across his chest.

He remained motionless because he was using his psychic power to search every inch of the grounds.

Although his psychic power could cover all of Blue Star in an instant, he did not know whether the people of this universe had hidden the stones from the Cosmic Cube and Loki's Scepter somewhere shielded from psychic detection. He still needed to search carefully.

Just then, a familiar bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere and struck him.

After a burst of crackling electricity, Thor appeared in all his imposing glory, Mjolnir in hand.

"I am the prince of Asgard! Why have you invaded Midgard?"

He wore the same familiar scale armor, a red cape draped down his back.

However, this universe's Thor clearly did not recognize him. After launching an attack, he hovered in midair and delivered his melodramatic declaration.

He should have gone home long ago.

But Loki's disappearance had kept him on Blue Star, searching for his brother.

When Thanos saw Thor appear, he stopped worrying about the Infinity Stones and smiled faintly.

With Thor here, why bother looking for the Infinity Stones? He could go straight to Odin.

The sight of that smile made Thor's backside clench, and a terrible feeling crept over him.

In the next instant, before he could even react, that ugly purple face appeared right in front of him. Then a massive purple hand seized his head.

An irresistible force sent his body hurtling downward.

Boom!

Thor felt himself slam into the ground, leaving him dizzy and dazed.

Looking down at the unresponsive Thor pinned beneath his hand, Thanos merely shook his head in disdain.

He lifted Thor by the head with one hand and swept a cold gaze over the surrounding Agents
