He looked something like a starfish, with one enormous eye at his center and over a dozen tentacles.
The dark clouds around them gradually gathered into Eye-Monger's body, brightening the sky. His aura, however, grew stronger still.
As the sun emerged, it revealed the world's ruined surface and an endless expanse of black below.
But that black expanse wasn't the ground. It was a mass of monsters corrupted by Eye-Monger's psychic influence.
The monsters kept charging toward them.

A bolt of lightning flashed.
Thor gripped Mjolnir tightly, still killing the monsters without pause.
But there were simply too many. Fearless of death, they kept coming no matter how many Thor killed.
Just as Thor was about to be overwhelmed, a rainbow appeared in the sky and plunged into the ground.
Boom!
The next moment, a host of Asgardian Warriors in golden armor, spears in hand, charged out of the rainbow.
"Kill them!"
"For the glory of Asgard!"
"Slay the monsters!"
Odin flew out of the Bifrost, Gungnir in hand. A sweep of energy instantly cleared the surrounding monsters, and he landed beside his son.
"Thor, are you all right?"
Heimdall, far away in Asgard, had noticed something wrong on Blue Star and alerted Odin.
