Just as Corvus Glaive was about to say more, a purple figure suddenly appeared before Zgreb.
"My name is Kronos. It's a pleasure to meet you."
When Corvus Glaive saw Thanos appear, he respectfully stepped aside.
He had no idea why his lord was using his grandfather's name, but he did not dare question it.
Zgreb nodded at Thanos and said evenly, "Exitar told me about you. He said you're quite a talkative little fellow."
Thanos did not know how to respond, so he merely smiled.
Zgreb continued, "You can go anywhere else in this universe, but you must stay away from Blue Star. We have a use for it. As compensation... I can give you a larger planet."
Thanos was stunned.
Compensation?
If the Celestials of his own Multiverse had been involved, he would have counted himself lucky if they had not demanded compensation from him instead.
It seemed people were not bad from the start. They became that way over time.
Once he had realized the planet was Blue Star, he had expected the Celestials to intervene. He had not expected them to be so polite.
"Sure. Let's go there now."
Zgreb froze at Thanos's reply.
He had only offered out of courtesy, never expecting Thanos to accept so readily.
But the Celestials of this era still took their promises seriously. What was said could not be taken back.
Before long, the two arrived at a star system a dozen or so light-years from Blue Star.
Zgreb pointed to the fifth planet from its star. "That planet is about 1.7 times the size of Blue Star. It has over three billion inhabitants, and its civilization is roughly medieval."
Thanos turned toward the blue planet, puzzled.
This star system did not seem very far from the Solar System.
