Hydra was despicable. To make them believe Aliens really existed, it had even caused earthquakes and deliberately damaged Blue Star.
When the floodwaters began swallowing New York, the Superheroes finally realized it wasn't Hydra. Aliens really had arrived.
In the Milky Way Dimension, even Thanos could hardly believe how easily Blue Star had been destroyed.
But it also confirmed that the Celestials were in crisis and had no power to watch over the other Parallel Universes.
So he ordered all his subordinates to move out.
A short while later, however, something unexpected happened.
His Avatar in the Main Universe sensed a powerful presence.
The next instant, Thanos lost sight through his Avatar's eyes.
His first thought was that an Omniversal Level being had appeared.
After all, the Celestials' favorite move when they couldn't win was to call for backup.
He immediately considered recalling all his subordinates, including Wanda and Quicksilver, who were still fighting.
But after a moment, he dismissed the idea.
The reinforcements the Celestials had sent might not be Omniversal Level.
From the Milky Way Dimension, he felt none of that omnipresent pressure, nor the heart-stopping sense that resistance was futile.
He had been around the Marvel Universe long enough to know roughly how such beings behaved.
Whenever they descended, they displayed their presence without hesitation.
It wasn't to show off. It was to send a message to every living thing in the Multiverse.
Behave yourselves, or I'll flip the table and send the universe back to the beginning.
Yet he still felt no such presence
