After Qian Xunji's death, Qian Daoliu ceased visiting Spirit Hall's Pope's Hall. His Hall of Enshrinement gradually became a separate faction from the Pope's Hall under Bibidong. He is described as the former Pope, Spirit Hall's Grand Elder, and the guardian of the Angel Godhood inheritance. 201 302

When Qian Daoliu confronted Bibidong over Qian Renxue's relationship, he discovered that she had completed Divine Nine Trials and entered the demigod realm. Bibidong asserted her authority as Pope, forbade him from leaving the Hall of Enshrinement without permission, and threatened to destroy Spirit Hall if he disobeyed; Qian Daoliu ultimately yielded. 201 202

He later learned that Qian Renxue was involved with Si Tingxuan, whose actions had killed multiple Spirit Hall officials.
