Ning Rongrong is the daughter of Ning Fengzhi and the heir to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Her father arranged her engagement to Long Aotian, a prodigy with Twin Martial Souls, to strengthen the sect’s future. Rongrong rejected the arrangement, refusing to marry someone she did not love, and fled the sect disguised as a maid on the eve of her engagement banquet. 37 53

After reaching Suotuo City, she disguised herself as a beggar and attempted to use a passing boy as a decoy. The boy was Lin Yuan, who accepted her deposit, led her toward the city gate, and then revealed her identity to the guards in exchange for the sect’s reward of 200,000 Gold Soul Coins.
