"It's fine, this is good enough." Xio hurriedly said, then began pondering in confusion. "Money, the sea... Could I be thrown into the ocean because of some unexpected windfall?"

She truly could not think of any danger related to money or the sea.

Luo Lin, however, had guessed what this was about. Connecting it to the original story, what he had divined was obviously the incident from a month later, when Xio, acting on Justice Audrey's commission, provoked Hurricane General Qilingus and nearly got herself killed.

"Rosell once said that even biological siblings should settle their accounts clearly," Xio replied earnestly, then smiled as well. "And trust me, my favor is worth more than forty pounds."

"Mm, that's true." Luo Lin seemed to consider it seriously for several seconds before nodding.

After chatting for a while longer, Luo Lin chose to take his leave.

He still had many things to do.

After Luo Lin left, Xio soon departed from the café as well. Once she confirmed that no one was following her, she returned to her apartment and found a certain couch potato lazily sprawled on the sofa reading a novel.
