Alvin Abraham announced his advancement to Angel across the continent, prompting Angels and observers to consider what it meant for the Abraham Family and the North Continent. Abner then brought Dorian and the others away from the Hornacis Mountain Range and invited them to question him.

• A monocled young man in Pritz Harbor learned that Alvin Abraham had become an Angel and found his public announcement interesting.
• Pallez told Leonard that Alvin's announcement completed his advancement ritual and might help the Abraham Family win a country’s support, but he avoided explaining the delicate situation on the North Continent.
• Bernadette recalled her father asking Uncle Benjamin about Alvin and wondered whether his announcement used a Grade 0 Sealed Artifact; she then considered asking Mr. Fool about the Pale Death's hidden existence.
• Ialdabaoth suspected that events were unfolding as Lord Oliver had predicted, while Medici and Einhorn argued over Alvin's chances and suspected Sauron was hiding something.
