Back to the matter at hand.

From the three wild Dragapult, Baimu gathered the following information—

The giant Pokémon in Casseroya Lake included Gyarados, Dragonair, Tropius, Avalugg, and Dondozo.

But if they were talking about strength, Tropius, Dragonair, and Avalugg were out, while Tatsugiri belonged on the list.

"Tatsugiri?"

Arven rubbed his chin. He had heard of these Pokémon. Supposedly, despite being Dragon-type Pokémon, they were tiny and rather weak.

Tropius and Avalugg aside, why had Dragonair, said to command wind and rain, been excluded, while Tatsugiri were considered strong?

Baimu pretended not to know and asked.

The three dragons replied that Tatsugiri were indeed unimpressive on their own, but they worked with Dondozo. No Pokémon in Casseroya Lake could stand against them.

"It has to be one of those two!" Arven said excitedly.

"Yeah."

Baimu nodded.

The defining trait of a Titan Pokémon was that nearby wild Pokémon dared not mess with it. The Dondozo and Tatsugiri combination fit perfectly.

At last, he asked what he had really wanted to know.

"Where can we find more Tatsugiri or Dondozo?"

The answer was the rocky islands near the great waterfall to the northeast. Tatsugiri were always sunning themselves there, occasionally teasing bird Pokémon foolish enough to bother them.

As for Dondozo...

They stayed close to the Tatsugiri, usually lurking underwater. The moment a Tatsugiri was in danger, they would rush out.

So whichever one was the Titan, finding Tatsugiri would lead them to Dondozo.

Arven looked at Baimu. "That sounds a little dangerous."

"You watch from the sky. I'll go in alone."

Baimu made his decision, then turned to the three dragons. "All right, get lost."

No longer of any use to him, the three Dragapult fled as though they had been pardoned.

They turned invisible together and soon vanished
