Applause swept through the stands.
Brandon joined in. "The Orre Champion lives up to his reputation. I learned a great deal from battling you."
"You're too kind. I learned a great deal too."
After a polite reply, Baimu saw that Brandon had no intention of sending out another Pokémon. "I heard that you and Regigigas..."
Brandon paused, then smiled and waved a hand. "The Giant King has been asleep for a long time. Besides, Regigigas and I aren't close enough for it to fight for me."
Baimu was disappointed.
He had hoped that, since he hadn't gotten to battle Regigigas in the Hisui era, he might get the chance now. Apparently not.
"Could I at least meet Regigigas?" Even if we can't battle, surely meeting it would be all right?
That small wish was easy enough to grant.
More importantly, Brandon felt that Baimu, as a fellow trainer who wielded Giant Power, could help him protect Regigigas while it slept within the Snowpoint Temple.
"Everyone! That's all for today's matches!"
He made the announcement to the stands.
The Battle Pyramid staff took the hint and began ushering the surrounding trainers away.
The trainers wanted to see more, but none insisted on staying. Instead, they gathered in groups to discuss the battles they had just watched.
"Regieleki and Regidrago really are incredible!"
"Do you think they have siblings too, like the Champion's and the Pharaoh's Regirock? I wish I could catch one!"
"In your dreams!"
"Like you don't want one?"
"Well..."
Almost every trainer dreamed of powerful Pokémon, whether to catch them and strengthen their team or to defeat them and prove their own strength.
Trainers the world over yearned for Legendary Pokémon, but very few ever earned their approval.
Brandon took Baimu to tend to the Legendary Giants on his
