Darkrai jolted out of his daze and retreated warily.
When he saw all the Pokémon in the room, he turned into a shadow without hesitation and vanished through the wall.
The Porygon Phone was startled. "Baimu!"
"Relax."
Baimu showed it the Darkrai Evolution Stone. "With this, he can't cause much trouble no matter how far he runs. Besides..."
Darkrai himself had been the one who asked Baimu for help.
If he wanted to run, let him.
Mew looked rather disappointed that Baimu wasn't going after Darkrai. "Mew?"
"You can chase him if you want."
Baimu had no interest in chasing a Pokémon that could appear and disappear like a ghost. At worst, he could have Hoopa bring Darkrai back.
He glanced at Hoopa without thinking, and Hoopa immediately caught on. "Leave it to—"
"Wait. Let him calm down. After all those years in a frenzy, he's probably not right in the head."
Baimu caught Hoopa's quick hand.
Then Gengar talked Hoopa into playing video games.
After all that commotion, no one felt like going back to sleep. Blissey and Ogerpon began preparing the Berries they had brought back from Nightmare Newmoon Island.
But honestly, even once they were ready, Baimu wouldn't dare let any Pokémon eat them.

Seeing that no one was paying attention, Mew circled around a few times with an odd look on its face, then went to pester Baimu as he prepared to fuse the Dread Plate into the Space-Time Wristband.

The Dread Plate's outer shell peeled away, revealing a crystalline core shimmering with color.
Sixteen Plates appeared one after another like scattered stars. The Dread Plate drifted into their midst, completing the seventeen types other than Normal-type.
Just as Baimu breathed a
