The Shadow Team members pressed on, looking somewhat worse for wear.

After the gas explosion and the Pokémon's Self-Destruct, they had run into trap after trap. Their protective suits had kept casualties low, but they had lost a great many Shadow Pokémon. And worse...

It was downright infuriating!

By now, almost every Shadow Team member was seething. They were waiting to run into the Rainbow Team so they could vent their frustration.

Baimu and the others arrived to oblige them.

Rumble—!!

The ground beneath their feet suddenly split apart. In an instant, a gleaming silver behemoth burst through the surface with a shriek as piercing as a high-speed train!

"Attack! Dark Rush!"

"Dark Storm!"

The Shadow Team members frantically released their Shadow Pokémon and ordered them to attack the Super-Gigantic Steelix.

At the same time.

Pokémon kept emerging from the surrounding buildings and firing ranged moves at them. Rainbow Team members wove among the Pokémon, hurling flashbangs and gas bombs as they attacked.

The Shadow Team members at the front and rear turned to face them, sending out Shadow Pokémon to fight.

Those in the middle kept their attention on the Super-Gigantic Steelix.

"Roar!!"

The Super-Gigantic Steelix took several hits and roared in pain. But instead of fleeing, it twisted its body into position and reared up, sending the four steel ribs jutting from its sides spinning wildly!

Rumble, rumble, rumble—

A raging Sandstorm swiftly gathered. Like a natural disaster descending, it became a colossal pillar of sand that blotted out the sun and hurled away most of the Shadow Pokémon charging in!

"What a powerful Pokémon!"

The Shadow Team officer was stunned by the Super-Gigantic Steelix. "Don't get close! Ranged attacks! Use ranged attacks!" he shouted.

Anything that charged into a Sandstorm of that scale would be thrown right
