Roxanne seemed to sense that her Pokémon was a little nervous and immediately reassured him.

"Don't be afraid! Rollout, straight at him!"

Hearing his trainer's voice, Graveler found his courage. His confidence as a Gym Leader's Pokémon returned, and he tucked both pairs of arms against his body before rolling forward with a rumble.

Steelix twisted in the sky, his bronze-like eyes tracking the rumbling Graveler. His tail flashed silver.

"Iron Tail!"

Steelix's tail roared through the air. Moving so fast it left only a blur, it swept straight toward the rolling Graveler.

"Use the rock to jump!"

Roxanne shouted, and Graveler slammed into a huge rock without hesitation. Instead of smashing it, he followed its curve and launched himself into the sky!

Boom!

The pursuing Iron Tail shattered the jagged rock. Fragments flew in every direction, kicking up a cloud of dust.

"Heavy Slam!"

"Fire Punch!"

Baimu and Roxanne gave their orders at the same time.

Steelix twisted with a roar. A silver sheen suddenly appeared around him, flowing like flames with a metallic gleam.

"Roar!"

His thunderous bellow rang out as he charged at Graveler, who had rolled even higher. The four huge steel bones jutting from his sides spun like a windmill, driving him forward like a speeding train.

Faced with Steelix's fierce attack, Graveler somehow stopped rolling in midair. He raised his thicker pair of arms, clasped them together, and brought them down hard on the oncoming Steelix as flames blazed over them!

They collided head-on!

Bang!

A thunderous crash rang out, and fire and smoke spread rapidly in every direction!
