The standoff lasted only an instant.
Bellossom's translucent sound waves overwhelmed Ursaring's like a tidal wave.

Silver Horse watched Ursaring get blasted away again. His hands, still clamped over his ears, tightened into fists.
Uproar was a Normal-type move, but Ursaring focused on Physical Attack, so its version could only hit so hard.
Bellossom, on the other hand, had gained an enormous boost to its Special Attack from Solar Power. It was hardly surprising that it won the clash, even without a same-type bonus.
Leaving aside its activation requirements and side effects, Solar Power was a god-tier Ability.
Of course Ursaring couldn't match it.

"Come on, Boss!"
Several Arena trainers saw Silver Ape's grim expression and couldn't help shouting encouragement.
When Baimu made no move to stop them, the rest joined in, clamoring to cheer Silver Ape on. Some looked ready to rush down and fight in Ursaring's place.
The other side was just as noisy.
They were talking about how Ursaring was somehow still standing. After taking Solar Beam and two rounds of Uproar, that Pokémon was absurdly tough.
But even toughness had its limits.
Seeing that Ursaring had little strength left, Silver Ape decided to gamble.
"Outrage!"
Outrage was essentially the Normal-type version of Outrage. It drove a Pokémon into a berserk state, lashing out wildly at its foe.
The key was that, during the assault, a Pokémon was likely to forget its pain and unleash its full strength. That gave Silver Ape hope of turning the battle around.
If Ursaring could take the hits and keep attacking, there was no reason it had to lose.
Bellossom might not be that sturdy. Silver Ape had been cramming Pokémon knowledge in private, and he knew its defenses were weak.
