Blissey had no idea how to prepare it, so she left everything to her trainer and watched quietly from the side.
He thawed it, removed the hair, washed it, and trimmed away the excess outer layer.
In just a few minutes, he had neatly arranged everything from the main ingredient to the side dishes and seasonings on the folding table.

Blissey had learned that expression from Porygon2 not long ago. Porygon2 had used it to praise the way she cooked, but she had always thought only her trainer deserved it.

Baimu ignored Shiny Gengar, who was making faces beside him in hopes of getting his attention, and narrowed his eyes at the recipe.
Considering his Pokémon's many different tastes, steaming the claw and letting each of them add their favorite sauce might have been better.
But he had no idea how it would taste steamed. When he looked it up online, nearly every recipe called for braising it in sauce, roasting it, or something similar.
