Baimu searched his memory in silence.
A base stat total of 580 was the easiest to recognize.
Common Sub-Legendary Pokémon like the Legendary Birds, the Ho-Oh Guard, and the Legendary Giants all had totals of 580.
Then there was 570...
That might be Silvally.
But why was there a 555?!
Wasn't Urshifu's total 550?
He racked his brain but couldn't figure out what Pokémon that mysterious 555 belonged to. Then it occurred to him that it might be a new Legendary Pokémon from the Paldea Region.
In any case, it probably wasn't Calyrex. If he remembered right, Calyrex's base stat total was relatively low.
He scrolled to the bottom of the list, where a base stat total of 200 caught his eye.
All right.
Calyrex's couldn't be that low. The 200 obviously belonged to Cosmog, which had two evolutionary stages!
Looking through the options, only two seemed to fit—
486 and an even 500.
It had come down to a choice between the two.
A Legendary Pokémon with Calyrex's stature shouldn't have such an odd base stat total. So who did the one in the 400s belong to?
Kubfu? Type: Null? Or Zygarde's 10% Forme?
Cosmoem, Cosmog's evolved form, was another strong possibility!
Baimu let out a long breath and moved to select 500, but his hand froze halfway.
What if he chose wrong?
Clues to Legendary Pokémon weren't easy to come by.
Especially one marked [obtainable]. If nothing unexpected happened, he could bring Calyrex into his fold...
Truthfully, Baimu would rather make friends. Take Regieleki and Regidrago: he had caught them first and dealt with the consequences later. Who knew how much they resented him for it?
If "obtaining" Calyrex worked the same way, how could he expect it to help green Orre?
He'd be lucky if it didn't
