Background / History

Fine was a priestess of the Prehistoric Civilization who engraved her soul into her DNA. When a compatible descendant encountered an awakened Relic waveform, Fine could revive within that descendant and replace their existence. In the present era, she used Ryouko Sakurai as her vessel 14.

Her long-term objective was to reunite humanity and end war. She eventually concluded that ordinary communication was insufficient because humanity had lost its common language and had created the Noise to kill one another. Her solution became domination and forced connection rather than mutual understanding 106.

Fine employed Raye as a mercenary, bodyguard, and technical specialist. She offered Raye access to Relics, Heresy Technology, intelligence, and equipment in exchange for protection and assistance with her plans 5 10. Fine’s dependence on Raye repeatedly exposed her own poor planning and lack of operational discipline, which Raye openly criticized 9.

Fine also raised Chris Yukine and presented the dream of ending war as their shared purpose.
