The Temple of Correction within Hera Fortress was where the former Regent had lain for ten thousand years. It was also the very core of Hera Fortress, with the most stringent defensive systems.

After Guilliman had been struck by Chaos Toxin, the Ultramarines had placed him within the Stasis Field of the Temple of Correction and guarded him closely for ten thousand years, until Archmagos Belisarius Cawl and Reaper Host leader Yvraine found a way to revive him.

Lin En had not expected Calgar to let him enter the Temple of Correction.

Did he really think of him as his father?

The First Company Terminators were fully armed as if facing a great enemy. They surrounded the Third Company Captain and Lin En at the center, then formed up, each gripping a Storm Bolter while their helmet lenses vigilantly scanned the surroundings.

The First Company Captain had someone bring over a stretcher.

Lin En had wanted to tell the First Company Captain that he did not need it, but before he could speak, two Terminators simply hoisted him onto it.

Lin En: "..."

Well, that worked too.

The stretcher was far softer than he had imagined, and the Terminators carried it steadily. The moment he lay down, he sank into it, and more than half the soreness in his body instantly eased.

It was genuinely perfect for slacking off.

He lay there in peaceful repose.

The spectators probably did not have the best impression of it, though.

Following Calgar's orders, the First Company Terminators dispersed the onlookers nearby.

Move along, everyone. No unauthorized personnel were allowed to approach.

Then they carried Lin En, brought along the Third Company Captain, and headed toward the Temple of Correction.

The Temple of Correction lay in the deepest part of Hera Fortress.
